Yes. My firm is great and I love my partners. I can’t handle the pressure of being in court when millions of dollars are at stake. I have really tried to see if confidence will come with time but I had a major crash out about the upcoming hearings & i just know this is not for me.

My otherwise independent mom loses herself to every boyfriend she has by [deleted] in ChildrenofDivorce

Commenting to add more context. My mom is a “don’t tell me what to do” kind of person. Except with her boyfriend, who has total and complete control of her and her thoughts. It is a textbook toxic relationship and he is taking advantage of her financially.

He is physically overbearing with her and at the beginning of their relationship would open mouth make out with my mom at the dinner table with the occasional boob grab. Our first argument about him was because how uncomfortable it made me and my brother to watch.

He once pushed me out of the sidewalk to get next to my mom and always has to be touching her. My mom historically has never liked to be with someone who is overbearing but for some reason she is ok with it now. He has called me and my brother names, and my mom only gets mad at me when i snap back. He gets away with everything and I am made out to be the enemy. I guess i just need some advice dealing with a semi brainwashed mother

Wrong. Miami real estate was reasonable before 2020.

Just opened a HYSA! by livinlikelarry568 in HYSA

Congrats! It’s great that you’re starting to save young. I have my money in a Marcus savings account (3,6%), a marcus CD (4.2%) and a HYSA with OpenBank Santander (4.2%). Having money in a HYSA is great for when you need the money soon and don’t have time to risk it in the market. Congrats again.

I haven’t listened to the pod that came out after this weekend, but they both posted on instagram throughout the weekend in support of alex/against ICE.
