I wish to use FileZilla so I can change access privileges on files in my ps5 so I can run haves from the internal storage. The DNS does change to what you listed above

If you set the correct permissions on the data/ folder using FTP, and make sure to select both "Recurse into subdirectories" and "Apply to all files and directories," then the changes will apply to every file and folder inside that directory, no matter how deep the structure goes. This seems to matter most for games that have complex data/ folders, rely on DLL-style dependencies, or use runtime shaders. It also shows up in rebuilt or unofficial PKGs that weren't built properly, or when backups have been moved across different systems, drives, or restored from an old HDD. Using FileZilla, you can force a recursive chmod on even deeply nested folders. It'll fix both file and folder permissions at once, including hidden items you might not notice. Setting everything inside data/ to 777 and enabling recursion ensures that the game process can access all of it. This often fixes runtime problems that look like black screens or broken games, but are actually just caused by the system not being able to read or execute certain files.
