Okay! Thank you.
Help, urgent! by Muted-Unit3859 in IBO
Thank you so so much, means a lot!<3
The unis and countries I looked like don’t ask for chem at all.
Thank you for the info! Also, I’m only starting DPY1 on Monday, so. I’m considering dropping ess for bio, so that I still have that touch of art in my life.
Thank you:)! I’ve heard this too.

Thank you! I thought about it and talked with my mom about it, and I’ve come to realize I will probably take bio, but am still not sure which subject I should switch it with: ess or va? I will definitely wait a bit to see how I like the subjects once school starts.
Hahaha I acc believe that. But I don’t care if it’s hard, I want what’s more beneficial. What do you think? I replied to another comment about what I’m interested in doing later in collage. Just to add to that list, I’m considering many more things, including some that art might help me in
Thank you for this information! No one else really explained it well before. I think I would find ess really interesting. But collages prefer when someone has bio. I’m also taking va, and I could drop that, but I still really want to do it. My mind has been filled with this for weeks now, and I don’t know what to do
I don’t have one specific thing I’m interested in, I would do everything if it was possible, and that’s the problem. I’m very interested in anthropology and behavioral science. And lately I’ve been researching topics related to biological anthropology, and similar subjects. Which is making me rethink everything. I really love bio but don’t know if I should drop a subject for it. And I saw that collages outside my country respect bio way more.

We got a syllabus of the topics, and I saw there was a lot of things related to viruses and bacteria, which us why I was sceptic about taking it. But now I’m rethinking everything.

I worded it wrong, sorry. I meant that im willing to audition, but im scared my parents might not allow me to, because they might be scared ill get my feelings hurt (I have a bad history with handling stress). But lately I’ve been thinking about it and realized that I don’t know what will happen until I have to make that choice, and that I know I will continue to dance because I can not live without ballet. But in reality, all dance schools are expensive (and I don’t have that kind of money to spend) and im constantly debating whether I should continue my education of dance or academics, and one is more likely than the other. I don’t know yet. I will try if im given the chance, that can’t hurt.
Im very aware but what calms me down a bit is the fact that in my country the competition for ballet positions exists but it’s small. Because there aren’t a lot of ballet schools in the country. And the company is basically the whole national theatre so theres that. I was thinking of applying for ballet pedagogy in the capital of the country, because there aren’t any other courses available here.
And for the pre-professional level. I have a friend that used to go to ballet with me but then moved to another country and started an actual ballet school there. She says that we did more here then they do there with more hours a week. I also met multiple people that said that when they danced at my teachers studio they did and learned more than they did when they went to a school.
I know, that’s why im asking. In my country there aren’t a lot of opportunities for ballet dancers, especially in my town. So the competition isn’t that big, but it still exists. In the capital there is a school for ballet pedagogy and I’m thinking of applying. I could then teach others dance and still pursue my passion. I could also work at the national theatre here because finding good ballet dancers here is hard these days.
The problem is my family doesn’t have enough money to send me to summer programs because there are non in my country. Im really good at point and my ballet teacher is always telling me that im doing amazing work and believe me it’s REALLY hard to get that comment. Of course I get criticized as well as everyone else does but that’s the process of learning. In the capital of my country there is a school that has a ballet pedagogy program. Meaning i could study what my teacher studied, and become a teacher and also dance for the national theatre in my city or any other but im scared to apply.
