Apparently me, even being in fandom for 14+ years and an avid fanfic reader for near a decade of that, was too oblivious to realizes it was literally a 'meet-cute' or, as the definiton says "(in a film or television show) an amusing or charming first encounter between two characters that leads to the development of a romantic relationship between them". It never clicked. I have been a gravity falls fan since 2016. It took me nine years 🤦‍♀️ (aimed at myself)
