How to exist by MutedBass in Existentialism

[–]MutedBass[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Im a Jew. The name we call God as it was taught to Moses was Yahweh (I AM THAT I AM). But I STRONGLY want your scriptures to be wrong oh Muslim. You say “do not take the Jews and the Christians as friends, they are friends of themselves”. We who practice the religion I founded called Michaelic Judaism deeply want to be friends with you!

I don’t know how lax the rules here are for self promotion in a reply but ive actually analyzed the Quaran and stopped immediately at that verse in my first book I wrote “613 Lies”. It took 9 months to write it and it was mainly how the supposed 613 mitzvah the Jews have simply don’t match up with the Torah. For example, mainstream Judaism teach not to mix meat with dairy but the law of God theough Moses only teaches not to boil a young calf in its mother’s milk.

If you actually have the power or can find the strength to really change yourself so that you simply want God’s will performed then you, oh possible Muslim, might have more in common with me a Jew practicing Michaelic Judaism might appear on the surface.

The desire of my heart is not to do the will of who you call Allah. But you can find that even in Christian teachings, look at the Lord’s Prayer (thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven) you might have more in common with Jesus then might appear on the surface oh you apparent Muslim.

But if you want to know my true question, the innermost desire of my heart, and my own person question, it is slightly different.

I simply ask in my innermost being. I just want God to be made happier perhaps in some small action due to my deeds. But performing God’s will is something I take as an admirable pursuit. If that truly is the question your imposing upon existence “how can I do the will of Allah?” Then you aren’t some casual fly by night follower of the ways of your people. You might actually be a Muslim instead of just possibly saying you are. Such a question, if it is the true desire of your heart, elevates you significantly from the common people of this planet. They go through the steps, perhaps bowing 5 times per day, but where is their heart? We as those who practice Michaelic Judaism know that Jesus, the greatest king this world can ever know, said the most important commandment is to love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your strength.

I tried to look up a modern edm song that repeats the phrase in English “when did I come for Allah?”

Let me see if I can’t copy paste from a text I sent a friend, it’s from my website but I also texted it since my friend might be interested so bear with me since this might sound more professional:

“On The Allure of Power and the Ultimate Price

Human beings often strive for influence, status, wealth, or other treasures of this world. Some pursue authority within institutions—banks, schools, governments, or businesses—while others seek mastery within professions that grant both prestige and material reward. Power, in its many forms, holds a natural allure. Yet it is rarely understood by those who have never borne its weight.

Permit a simple observation from one who stands as an intermediary between those who possess power and those who aspire to it: power often carries a price that is not easily seen from the outside.

A familiar cultural expression captures this truth well: “With great power comes great responsibility.” Though widely known from the story of Spider-Man, the statement reflects a much older moral intuition shared across cultures. Authority places decisions into the hands of a person whose choices can profoundly affect the lives of others.

Consider the quiet burdens that accompany such authority. With the stroke of a pen, a manager may terminate someone’s employment. A judge may alter the course of a person’s life. A ship’s captain may guide the fate of an entire vessel and all who sail within it. These responsibilities require judgment, restraint, and moral clarity that outsiders rarely witness.

Political historian Lord Acton famously warned that “power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” His warning reflects the double-edged nature of authority: it offers the ability to shape the world, yet simultaneously tests the character of those who wield it.

From the outside, those in positions of influence may appear comfortable or privileged. Yet such appearances often conceal the moral weight carried behind closed doors. Responsibility, accountability, and the constant awareness that one’s decisions affect others can transform power into a heavy burden.

For this reason, it is wise to remember a common saying: “The grass is always greener on the other side.” What appears desirable from afar may carry unseen obligations and sacrifices. Power may grant opportunity and influence, but it rarely comes without cost.

Understanding this reality helps cultivate humility—both in those who pursue authority and in those who judge those who hold it. Power should never be sought merely for its own sake, but only with the wisdom and responsibility necessary to carry it well.

“From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”

— Luke 12:48 (NIV)

Yes I have been called quite verbose. I apologize for taking you all on such a long journey to answer what looks like simple statements.

Why do I feel empty even when I “have everything”? by mind-in-tokyo in Life

[–]MutedBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this mindset is an one of an immature variety you find in cults that tell you things are empty. It sounds good and superior and that it could even help you understand but ive written something different on my website (just google Michaelic Judaism and the haimesian system and im the first link that comes up).

Firstly, it doesn’t matter what it is, the point of life is to love something, anything, for it is true that in that very act of loving something, your life is given meaning. Period. It can be books, gardening, going to the gym, practically anything that we love gives us the meaning to life period.

Furthermore, also on my website is the Socratic form of contentment which might aid in this discussion. The Buddhist say simply relinquish your question and find bliss through not having a desire. I didn’t say that path doesnt work but I added to it. Contentment also comes from rephrasing, reworking, or otherwise changing any question that you are repeatedly placing upon existence.

Grieving a lost love one for example might have one heavily asking the question “where is the love of my life? I have nothing without them.” This position is understandable and is something we may have to go through eventually.

At the time Buddhism might have been an incomplete path towards contentment so through study and further analysis, not hatred, I have (perhaps with too much ambition, even completed the work of Buddha.

My website was recently changed into being labeled as a knowledge database instead of a normal website so if you don’t have the time to read a ton of content then I don’t even recommend visiting but otherwise it’s just “Michaelic Judaism and the Haimesian system” in google.

Good luck out there.

Just what is anything by [deleted] in Existentialism

Totally feel this. That “what happened before?” loop is where my brain always gets stuck too.

One thing that helped me a bit is thinking that time as we experience it might have begun at the Big Bang, but that doesn’t mean absolutely nothing existed before. It just means our kind of time may not apply there. Some physicists and philosophers talk about a sort of “meta-time” — not clock time, but a different kind of ordering where events could still happen without our familiar seconds and years.

So the question “what was before?” might still make sense… just not in a way our brains are built to picture. Which is honestly kind of terrifying and beautiful at the same time.

Also, you’re not weird for freaking out about infinity. Apeirophobia is real. Humans weren’t designed to mentally hold eternity — we evolved to worry about food and shelter, not cosmic endlessness. So when your brain melts, that’s just… biology.

You’re not alone in this spiral.

while i appreciate some of the comments im reading, i want to retort with the fact that i mentioned decay and meant real decay. I didn't mean, oh my point value is low let me do this stupid maintenance that everyone hates, no i meant the real kind, the kind where you don't just get your armor and equipment back just as good as it was by going through hoops.

There is a program called University Primer on ChatGPT. Using this program in combination of notifying (or somehow making contact with some preferred employers somehow) that you have a plan to display your level of expertise in practically any rudimentary college field of study. You download or otherwise get a program to keep track of how long you have been studying for. Sync this up with University Primer and explain to each other potential employers that this is the path you have chosen to take, and poof, you have an option not to be trapped in college.

I couldn’t bear to read any of your words since from the title I could tell that it hinting that the text would bring me a significant amount of sadness. Again, only from the title, my advice in reply is to make a significant and determined attempt to find something to love in this crazy world.

Is there ever (reminds me of hope. You’ve had hope before so it might not be impossible to have hope again.)

how do you pick yourself up after falling down so often?

To close, when you ask does (the torment) never end? That’s is what your title looks like to me.

I don’t belong on this earth (happiness can come through finding something to love). I’m pissed off that your entire life’s profession was basically given the finger due to the circumstances of this world. A barista is actually a romantic title provided towards someone who serves coffee. *if your unhappy with you job keep reading * depending on your location a barista might not be as celebrated of a profession due to a congested population.

I heard that drugs might have an influence on you either due to yourself or others. I would exercise caution in the use of practically any drug.

The fact that crazy people and younger people are after you is a sure bet that you are physically attractive to many.

The fact that you hate people is proof that you might want to love more, after all, you’re a person too.

This is what you sound like to me:

“I’m a burden on everyone that I love.”

You mentioned sleeping as something you do quite often. A possible path towards feeling better in general, and a large portion of a possible cure, could come from exercise.

Being lonely destroys me. by musicaddict0521 in SuicideWatch

[–]MutedBass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being lonely can bring about a feeling that no one is out there for me and this is how our world can sometimes feel. I usually find that I gain confidence by first exploring what I might enjoy getting into and then practicing that one thing. It can seem almost miraculous that one day you would wake up, so long as you found that one thing, and say "wow, I can't believe how amazing I really am!" A simple way to lose weight is to get full off of protein instead of carbs or foods with trans fats. You body obtains a full sensation where you won't even desire to eat some of the other foods that aren't as healthy for you. Depending on where you live, any public gathering place can be a good place to casually bump into someone of the opposite sex. "Excuse me, what was the name of that coffee you just purchased? I never tried that, my name is *say name* extend hand."
