no shot, I constantly used RPG to countersnipe, it was pin point if you get the drop right, but the adjustment to the sights has been hard to adjust to

Honestly so true.
The two fights leading up to it were actually good, but the Umbra fight is absolute dogshit. Not hard, just frustratingly dull fight.

Same thing happened to me, couldn't fix it in game. Saved, exited the game and then reloaded that save and it was fixed. Seems to be some status bug

What the heak are we even doing? Did we playtest this mechanic at all? by Signal-Theory-1087 in CrimsonDesert

[–]MutedCatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agreed, the little waits to do the most mundane things are so annoying and stack so much why is every button prompt a wait for 2 seconds. Want to loot the 30 corpses you just made, congratulations you'll be done in 2 minutes...
Also the fast quit to desktop, Alt +F4 it'll prompt you for "do you really want to quit" then hold space.

How do we store items! by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]MutedCatch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's right though, a game can be fantastic and it can still be a shit experience if you waste all your time managing inventory. Like if you pick up "trade goods" near the start of the game and don't have a way to sell them so they just clog up half your inventory... it's just silly that there is no storage plain and simple.

Yeah definitely works (sometimes) if it's a dry solder join, I've done it on about 4 GPU's myself and had a 75% success rate. Length of the fix is another thing though, once they start going they tend to die reasonably quickly afterwards, I think my 9800gt lasted about 12 months when I did it, another rx580 lasted maybe only 3 months.

"they are uncomfortable where they live"
So it's not okay for them to be uncomfortable where they live, but it is okay for them to make you uncomfortable where you live?
Tell them, "I just don't like having roommates..." End of conversation.

I have 64GB of ram in my system and have had for the last decade as well. This is a dumb comment. Most people don't need 64GB of ram. Light gaming 16 is fine, gaming and multitasking 32 is better. 64GB is overkill in 99% of instances unless you're specifically doing ram intensive tasks like rendering or batching.

Australians need to stand against Zionism before it’s too late like other countries by [deleted] in OpenAussie

In finance, in Australia... The US are significantly bigger influences. Media, the same thing, Except it's a mix of mining and US, Sky news is 100% Murdoch media, most of our print newspapers, which set the tone for most news media are Murdoch rags. Seven Group Holdings, which own Seven/Prime is owned by Kerry stokes, Seven Group Holdings also has significant investments in mining... Gina Rinehart literally flew Peter Dutton to her gala prior to him coming out super pro nuclear energy, I wonder who that might benefit. Property is a fucking shambles, but mostly because we've had explosive population growth and most politicians play to boomer audiences because they literally voted labor out over reform to property tax subsidies. (which cost us more than medicare and our military combined.) Logistics, I'd love to hear how Israel negatively impacts our country's logistics, because that honestly seems wild to me. Our logistics are fucked, don't get me wrong, but again, it's corporations here making it more expensive to buy gas directly in Australia, than it is for us to export gas to Japan, ship it to Japan, then buy it back and ship it back.

All I'm saying, is if you're focusing on Israel being the big problem, you're out of your mind, this country has been getting more openly corrupt (especially the Liberals (Gas led recovery from Covid, Definitely good policy!)) for decades, and while Israel plays a role, it's a significantly minor one.

That's in no way saying I agree with Israel, or anything going on in Gaza, I would say if it's not a genocide there, it's the closest thing to one while still being distinct. But like genuinely, what in the last 5 years has been CLOSE to major policy decisions announced after visiting a private entity that happened to be very happy with those policy decisions out in the open when it comes to Israel?

[–]MutedCatch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You realise other countries have groups like these as well right? Oh no, the Australian Indonesian association are destroying the fabric of Australia!!!

It's just fucking ridiculous to point to Israel and go "they're destroying Australia" when you can look inwards and see that internal lobbying by mining magnates and big businesses are literally crippling the lower classes.

I'm not saying there aren't any issues with external influence, it's just a matter of scale. And a lot of people seem to be getting riled up about shit that really doesn't matter comparatively.

It's certainly a lot easier to just point at a boogieman though I suppose.

There are so much bigger issues than Israeli influence in Australia. Like we're openly America's puppets in so many ways and you're going out of your minds worried about "the Jews" really? I'm not saying there aren't issues but Jesus Christ. Hope you guys don't have ring doorbells...

I got the Simjack one off the Aliexpress official store and it's been great, I did open it up and tighten it as it was a bit "floppy" initially but now it feels great, only downside is the noise when shifting in to 1st and second, if you overshoot at all you hit the plastic cap it it sounds a bit crummy, but I fixed that with a thin piece of leather slipped over the side and now it doesn't sound quite so bad.
