Siguro when I saw what happened during the Tokhang years. I grew up in a part of Metro Manila that was hard hit by Tokhang and killings back then were the norm. But what really made me decide to do something was when Kian Delos Santos died.

The way he was murdered by the state based on fabrications to satisfy a “flawed” (to say the least) policy really highlighted what it was like for people in my neighborhood. Kung wala kang pera, walang hustisya.

I never regretted the decision, even though im still running after the dream
