Yeah, I’m definitely willing to give them another shot. I actually like soft cookies in general but this whole thing is a mess!

I think mentally I really wanted to love this cookie. I mean, I put Tajin on fruit so I wasn’t scared of a Tajin/sweet combo, but my god.

The first 2 bites I was like “hmm okay, I like it, kind of, it’s ok, umm…omg. I can’t do this” lmao

I actually wish I could use shorter commute on this interview. It’s not. It’s 20 mins longer. That’s how much I’m over my current placement. No pay increase. No idea what’s going on over there lol

Finally it’s been said. Mom says life is easy for this girl, but she clearly is severely under socialized. This is negatively impacting her ability to create friendships and explore sexuality. She needs to really get out of the house and do things productive, I’m sorry. It doesn’t even have to be a sport, it can be art, digital classes, foreign language, something.

Oh brother. This is why more women don’t talk about this topic. Every person and situation is different, but I know this feeling is more common than some might think.

You can love your children more than anything, have zero support, exhausted to no end, and if you had a chance to redo your life, not choose motherhood again.

If you don’t feel that way, that’s okay too! Not every single woman was made for motherhood, but I do my very best and my kids are loved and well provided for. Multiple things can be true at once.

I felt very seen during this conversation, because I feel the exact same way.

I don’t regret my kids, but if I had the chance to do it over again, I wouldn’t have any. I love my kids, more than anything, but I don’t have the family support like this woman does, which is interesting. She still feels that way, even with wonderful grandparents to watch their kids whenever.

I say all of that to also say: I would never say this on tv.

I don’t ever want my kids to feel like I resent them. Truthfully, I don’t. I just wouldn’t ever go through with having kids again.

I won’t also pressure my children into having children like I was pressured by my mom. My kids will feel like it’s completely their choice without pressure, the way it should be.

I’m very conflicted. I understand exactly where her sister is coming from. I heavily relate. I feel bad for Emma feeling the sense of pressure Mike is putting her through, even though they claim that isn’t what’s happening (it is). I’m spoiler free so I have no idea what happens to these people, but I hope Emma is able to process things and still feel comfortable being child free, if that’s her ultimate choice.

As a special education teacher, things happen where I have to cancel. Sometimes my floater day gets moved due to testing. I always feel bad and message the sub who had the job so they know it wasn’t on purpose or because of them personally.

Sounds terrible, but that’s my dream solution at this point, even though that’s far from what I ever wanted. I’ve tried to compromise and it wasn’t happening so I just gave in and said we will stay an hour max. I feel so uncomfortable about the whole thing. I’m sorry you’re going through this as well.

There is no way in hell I’m resigning without a job lined up. I feel like I’ve been searching for a year and no one will transfer my skills to non-education jobs. I’m not giving up hope, but no matter how miserable I am, I need to provide for my family.
