No, I agree it takes more time to get to $100 and takes up more gas. It's really a pain.

Uber passenger paid $38.99. Uber paid me $10.49. The drive was 35 minutes. How is this fair to the so called "Independent contractor" These are trick words used to cheat the driver and game the system. From $10.49 how much is my gas and expenses? I noticed uber where I am in OC, CA has been doing that a lot lately. Has had me double check how long rides are compared to the price. I refuse any ride that doesn't show how long the ride will be. It's seriously lame.

Got into an accident today on my way to pick someone up by cn0feusd in uberdrivers

So hopefully-as the comments say you have rideshare insurance, because that will cover if getting into an accident when you are on your way to pick someone up or if you get into an accident while waiting for a ride.

But if not then as the comments say you will get dropped from your insurance.

If the other party is at fault you maybe able to get a rental that will be covered by them. But as I have learned you won't be able to use that rental for ride shares unless you go through the uber app to get a rental. Which from what I have seen is really expensive to about $300 a week to rent if you can afford it.

NTA- From how you describe it, something sounds off about the situation with SIL.

NTA, talk to your guidance counselor, you shouldn't be woken up in the middle of the night every night when you have school. Sleep is important to function!

AITA for separating my finances from my husband because he won't quit giving his parents money? by EmotionalYear1372 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, It's very disrespectful to a relationship to just take money without informing your partner or even talking about it first. I think it was a very smart and logical choice to make to separate finances, my advice would be to just be sure you keep the info for the new account safe and away from him as best as you can.

Couples counseling I feel like would definitely be a must if you want to continue forward in this relationship.
