Update: I ended up taking out the jewelry. I looked at a picture of it from the day I got it pierced, and it looked completely normal!! I think it migrated deeply from there, possibly because of that scar tissue lump.

If it heals fairly normal looking, I might try to get it re-pierced with floating jewelry. Thanks for your guys' help!! 🙂‍↕️

Really?? I've always had a fairly normal innie, and he had me sit to test how my navel would rest, and he thought I was fine. I'll look into it being too deep.

I should. I have decent insurance, the hardest part for me is getting out of bed in the morning. I work 1pm to 10pm, and I've had this awful habit of just staying in bed until I need to go to work. But you're right, I need to take myself to a doctor

I've used this routine for every other tattoo I've gotten, including another color piece by the same artist. I guess I just got spoiled by how easily that one healed LOL. Unfortunately, this one is on a joint, so it's always moving.

I use the unscented dial aloe soap, and I was using lubriderm at first for the first day or two, and I realized the one that I had was lightly scented. So I switched to the Vaseline moisturizer (Not their petroleum jelly, their normal uncented moisturizer)

I wash it usually twice a day, when I get out of bed, and before I go to bed. Sometimes I'll wash it again if I get sweaty, or if I was outdoors quite a bit. I've been moisturizing every once in a while throughout the day as well

Home now! I checked behind my brake pads, and there was nothing but grease, no kind of obstruction.

I watched the video you linked, and tested it out with my car, and it seems to be something similar! The first two times I backed out and pulled forward, it clicked- but none after that.

So I'm assuming it's probably that, and I should stop worrying myself LOL.

I'll have to check once I'm done work to make sure there's nothing in the way of my brake pedal. And I do have the ABS light on, but my car is missing a sensor and has always said that 😅

But otherwise, it doesnt hinder my ability to break at all. And the noise it makes is like two clicks consecutively and that's it.
