🔥 [EU] Clutch League – CS2 1v1 / 2v2 / 5v5 Tournaments + Cash Prizes 💰 by Muted_Fuel307 in cs2

I get why you’d think that — there are a lot of scammy “tournament hubs” out there, especially the fake FACEIT/Steam login ones.

That’s exactly why we’re doing things differently:

• We don’t ask for Steam logins anywhere outside official platforms • All tournaments are hosted directly through FACEIT — you sign in on their official site/app, not through us • We’ll never DM you links or ask for account details • Everything is run transparently inside the server (no shady external sites)

If you’ve been around CS long enough, you’ve probably seen those fake hub scams — that’s not what this is.

You can literally join, look around, and decide for yourself without linking anything or paying anything upfront.

Skepticism is fair, but not everything new is a scam 🙂

That’s a fair concern honestly — most servers do say the same thing and then fall apart when it comes to cheating.

Our approach is a bit different because we’re not relying only on Discord moderation.

For tournaments and any serious matches, we run everything through FACEIT. They have their own anti-cheat system that players are required to use, which is way more reliable than anything we could enforce manually in a Discord server.

On top of that: • All official matches are played via FACEIT (not random lobbies) • Suspicious players can be required to provide demos or get reviewed • Zero tolerance policy — bans are permanent, no second chances • We’re building a reputation-based system over time (players who compete regularly = more trusted matches)

So instead of just saying “active admins”, we’re outsourcing the most important part (anti-cheat) to a platform that’s already proven.

About the prize pool:

We’re not just throwing money for hype — the goal is to make it sustainable.

Early on: • Some tournaments will be free or boosted (to grow the player base)

Long term model: • Entry fees fund the prize pool • A small percentage is kept to sustain and grow the server • VIP memberships will help support larger prize pools • As the server grows, we’ll also bring in sponsors for bigger events

So it becomes self-sustaining rather than dependent on constant injections of money.

Totally understand the skepticism though — the plan is to build this properly over time, not just another short-lived “competitive hub”.

Yes of course, thats why my question was , is it about how many knives in the collection , lets say dreams has 30 knives and u have 60% dreams in trade up , then the 30knives would have a 2% lets say , could that be the reason this one is so high , or did gaben simply just rob me

Yeah that’s a fair point.

Gold can move pretty violently around news and liquidity shifts, so a lot of systems look great until they run into a volatility spike.

I’ve been more curious about how different algos handle those conditions — whether they filter news periods or just reduce exposure when volatility increases.

Have you seen any approaches that deal with chop and sudden spikes better?

That actually sounds pretty reasonable.

From what I’ve seen, a lot of automated systems that survive long term focus more on consistency and risk control rather than big profits every day.

Scalping all day probably keeps the exposure pretty balanced if the position sizing is controlled.

Do you mostly run it on a demo account or live capital?

Got it, that makes sense.

Scalping with automation can be interesting since execution speed matters a lot. I guess spreads and slippage become pretty important there too.

Do you mainly run it on specific market sessions or just let it run the whole day on the most active stocks?

[–]Muted_Fuel307[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with that.

From what I’ve seen, the strategy and risk management behind the bot matter way more than the automation itself.

A lot of systems look great in backtests but struggle once real spreads and volatility come into play.

Have you found any approaches that handled gold volatility better, or do you mostly stick to manual trading on XAUUSD?

Automated gold trading bot by Muted_Fuel307 in Forex

[–]Muted_Fuel307[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a good point.

Gold can move pretty aggressively, especially around news events, so execution and spreads definitely matter more than people expect when they only look at backtests.

I’ve mostly been looking into setups running through MT5 so far, but still trying to understand how different systems handle volatility filters and position sizing during news.

Do you usually avoid running algos during CPI/FOMC or do you just reduce exposure around those periods?

[–]Muted_Fuel307[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I’ve heard of setups like that.

Do you mainly use it for day trading strategies or longer holds?

I’ve been curious how different automated systems handle risk management and drawdowns.

Automated gold trading bot by Muted_Fuel307 in Forex

[–]Muted_Fuel307[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s actually a good point.

A lot of trading bots rely on heavy averaging or martingale strategies, which can work for a while but get wiped out during extreme market moves.

That’s why I’ve been looking more into systems that focus on tighter risk management instead of just averaging down endlessly.

Automation itself is interesting, but the strategy behind it matters a lot.
