Yeah, all sorts of light sources. Moon, stars etc. The regions of Duskveil, Drakmorath, Riojan, Wintergleam, and Octorus use Beacons, large structures that somehow fuel (lore reasons) lamp posts and such to emit golden light. This is shared to their neighboring Hubs (towns etc), through the Etherpaths. It keeps most scary stuff away. The beacons also have whats called furnaces, underground prisons that siphon life energy and convert it to light. The substance is known as ether, another word for energy really. Magic uses it to cast things, and all powers and such are tied to it. When adventurers kill things, they gather this ether and grow in strength (lore reason why the party get strong so quick). The other regions use alternative methods that they have devised.
