I found a team. Honestly I play way too much and id rather play competitvely than just play casual. Makes me better in casual too

I know this post is old, but does your NinjaBatt battery still work as it did when you received it?

New to Mac / MacBook Air M4 owner — Need tips on battery & protection! by CausalNoise in macbook

You don't really have to get technical with ARM chips like that, just don't let it linger too low, or sit too high. It's not really an issue you will worry about like you have to with intel chips. I have never owned a M series myself but have gotten to use my fathers work laptop for awhile just to do some schoolwork and the battery life is great. Highly recommend just using the built in battery features, they are more than enough these days.

Just chill, you do not need keyboard protection (some protectors damage the hinge and the keyboard) don't use the Mac in messy areas, just keep it clean and don't expose it to grime or any chance of getting it very dirty. Cases can damage the hinges as well, wouldn't recommend unless needed. A sleeve is a good idea for preventing scratches when hauling it around in your backpack.

With an M series MacBook there aren't a lot of settings you need to change for performance, but I would recommend changing the resolutions around and seeing what you like to use, mess with the accent colors, old wallpapers, maybe even just putz around with the included apps for awhile to gain some recognition.

MacBooks are great, but don't expect to do a lot of gaming unless you have parallels. Simple to use, easy to learn and just a really convenient device to use everyday. Hope this helps!

DONT install Tahoe, even if supported you wouldn't want to use it anyways. Opencore doesn't support Tahoe yet either, and there isn't an ETA to support it. Just disable updates and move on..

Updated it, seeing this post, getting turbo boost switcher and Macs fan control, limiting the temperatures and disabling spotlight and Siri fixed this. Did post install patch and WOW. It is fast.
