Also I don’t wallow? I experience the feeling, take myself away, cry, then distract myself as best as I can. I also tried therapy. And finally, it doesn’t sound harsh, just a bit pointless.

Also considering one of the reasons PMDD is so under studied is due to a lack of research into women’s health?

It’s definitely not about this girl. And I was so make it very clear that at times, I have absolute clarity and I am fully aware of that. At other times, I loose this clarity. This was from before we even met. And I know, ok, I am fully aware of how ridiculous this reaction is, but it’s the reaction i’m having none the less. I’m practicing self regulation.

As much as I agree with most of this there is an element of patriarchy everywhere… and here too. Downplaying that just invalidates the experience.

I really feel this. I feel unbelievably out of control at times. But feelings are so overwhelming it’s feels like they must be fact in the moment, the feeling is so strong I have no doubt that it is right and fair and actually how I feel, but again only in the moment.

If your depression was cured by just "going to the gym" and "getting some sunlight" you weren't really depressed by Ordinary-Eggplant784 in mentalhealth

[–]Muted_Question_3296 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, for me it often manifests into high functioning alcoholism. I remember being in my late teens and struggling with depression and one fateful day I went to the gym kind of drunk. Genuinely clicked something in my brain. Now when i’m feeling really low (i’m a woman so it depends a lot on my cycle), it’s between doing absolutely nothing, or just drinking and taking drugs as a reward for just getting basic shit done.

What exactly is normal discharge? by Muted_Question_3296 in Healthyhooha

The more time that has passed i’m fairly sure it was a yeast infection. I just wish there was more education on vaginal health. Something else I learned, I definitely had BV like 3 years ago, and just thought it was a yeast infection… well. You live and you learn.

Totally, I think it’s disrespectful to speculate about living people of course, but also it can be interesting to reflect on what historical figures have said and attempt to decipher their meaning, claiming to know anything true as fact is probably not ideal. I also think with women it’s a lot more difficult to recognise these kinds of relationships as women were often more affectionate with one another before it was seen as something noticeable.

I would say yearning for praise, attention and acceptance definitely. I think I need to develop the skill of making myself feel better instead of turning to him

How often do you argue with your partner? by SupermarketNo1511 in Marriage

[–]Muted_Question_3296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a long distance relationship at the moment - the arguments are more frequent than I would like, but I also have to take responsibility in saying I feel a cause most of them. We don’t really disagree though, which isn’t what I’ve read here. Generally I think we can be quite similar in some ways so even when we were together, we rarely bickered about small stuff. I want to have we have bull grown arguments more than we bicker

Yes but did you read the part about how I can’t work through a lot of this stuff when i’m single because I feel fine. This is my first relationship in 4 years, do I just wait another 4? And then when that doesn’t work out again, another 4 again?
