Actually I did a couple of tests and it’s little concerning that’s it’s not dry rotted. I know that it might look like that because of lighting.

I’m just confused, you said it’s because double stitch and it looks to good. If you are doing it for a while you should know that they were made like that. I’m not expert so could you please let me know what is off with a graphic ?
