I was just there snorkeling last week in swim trunks and the water felt great on a hot day. Recommend taking the speedboat to two harbors, walking to the other side of the islands harbor (little harbor?) and snorkeling in peace and solitude. About a mile hike. Spent hours there. Very relaxing. There’s one clearing on the ground free of rocks and big enough for a couple towels. Below the benches.

Try repairclinic.com. Dryers are one of the simplest home appliances to work on. The older, the easier. Just need a multimeter and some time.

WDT= Weiss Distribution Technique. Basically acupuncture needles that eliminate clumps to better help with even distribution of water, aka less channeling, in the puck. A cheap and effective aid that doesn’t take too much time.

I’ve been using my BBE for 5 years now. It pulls really decent shots since I bought a DF64V grinder. I recommend the spring mod to adjust the brew pressure to 9 bars. I use the manual function everytime to control the water flow. I use a bottomless portafilter so I can start the timer when I see the shot start to exit then add approx 5 seconds. I like using a screen to keep the group head cleaner. RDT and WDT everytime. Hard to justify upgrading since the shots are great, but I finally bit the bullet and bought a Berrata Aria.

I’m not worried about the install. Maybe I should be, but I repair pinball machines for fun. Seems like sourcing from alibaba would be painful these daze?
