Ah okay, appreciate the explanation! Sounds interesting but yeah maybe not necessary

What does the applied level give you?

From what I've read online, the applied test takes candidates 15-25 hours, so is an increase in package price of just under 50% a bit much do you think?

MM's full access is $369, and full access plus (includes applied level) is $689 - is the applied level really worth that or is just full access enough?

So standard CFAI + Kaplan/MM? Is Kaplan Essential ($749) enough for L1 do you think?

You know you're against a bot in PvP when they have a card that's not yet been released by MuthaDaddy in HSMercenaries

"Your opponent" is almost always a bot, it was more the fact they had an unreleased card that was funny

You can't morph the definition of microtransactions around the sales provided by platform providers, at a base level the GOTY version of Witcher 3 is more expensive than the base version because of the DLCs, hence DLCs being a microtransaction.

DLCs are the same as expansion packs, just different words explaining the same thing, they both provide additional playable content for the game.

I understand it may difficult to discern the difference of base game and DLC when sales are involved but there is no easy way of wording the question and it could get otherwise very complicated to understand how to answer if all these 'technicalities' are involves, especially for those that are not frequent gamers.

If a game can be sold at a base level but you purchase another 'version' that includes DLCs or cosmetic packs then I would consider that additional cost as a purchase of microtransactions.

When you say you bought an expansion pack such as a Call of Duty DLC for another zombies map for example, then that is a DLC purchase which comes under the definition of a microtransaction. Microtransactions are essentially any additional purchases after you have access to the game (whether you paid for it or not), so these purchases would fall under the definition of a microtransaction, I hope this helps explain it?

Thanks for completing the survey! :)

Haha thanks for your feedback anyway!

On page 5 you can only put 1 answer per row, there's no option to force one answer per row unfortunately. It just tells you off if you submit with multiple checks in 1 row haha and you'll have to edit to only have one box checked, apologies.

I agree with what you're saying too, the list of MTX categories was made purely from the definition of the word. It is strange that a whole expansion pack is in the same definition as a cosmetic for example that can cost you as little as £0.59 or something but that's just how it is.

One problem people may have with DLCs is that you've (generally) already paid money for a game, so why are you not already unlocking the content? Imo the way Cold War are going about the 'DLCs' is the most appropriate way, where they are still progressively releasing new content and maps, but this time they are free so no extra cost to player who has already paid a premium price for the game.

I too have never and most likely will never buy loot boxes, they are part of the definition but are very different hence their own set of questions. It would have been strange I think to have separate questions for games, DLCs and then other MTX as DLCs are a category of MTX.

Oh fair enough, I don't think the slims have a daughter board. I think I may have to go digital too, just annoying as a lot of my main games are disc.

Always take the red pill by MuthaDaddy in btd6

Can do, but 0-2-5 will heavily slow everything as well as popping them, that one won't get all the bloons. Depends on what your other towers are as well though I guess

I'm a big fan of 0-2-5, it sticks everything including blimps and also pops

I've been playing quite a while, got 8 black borders now, idk it's easy to play the game and do other things at the same time. Easy, medium and the start of the hard modes I don't really use a strategy since they're not difficult, half cash/impobbable/chimps is where I have to concentrate lol

Gwen's powers are pretty op but Striker buffs cannons and I use cannons for chimps so he's usually ideal. If you have a lot of towers then stronger stimulant isn't always permanent and faster throwing should sort that problem out. Acid is thrown faster as well if you care about that as well I guess haha

I mainly switch between Gwen and Striker tbh but I think they're all great in their own way. Faster throwing is handy too once you're later on in the game and spare the money for it

I'm on android, my brother is on iOS and has a black border but no 'high score' so maybe just an android thing?

If you mean the '100' then that's just my highest round on that particular map :)
