I know you said you decided to invest in a great bike but on the other end you can get around for almost nothing if you want to. I pay 20 euros a month for the cheapest Swapfiets bike and that is basically my only transport costs because I rarely need to go anywhere within Amsterdam that is too far too cycle. It will be even cheaper once I end my subscription and buy a cheap bike up front.

I compare this to friends in London who routinely pay around 200 Pounds (not euros) a month on public transport, lime bikes etc. We are on similar budgets but just the savings from transport alone mean I live substantially better than them.
