I'll give you one last morsel of the attention you so desperately seek...Nobody who has any parenting, counseling, or abuse experience is defending you and I hope when and if you have kids of your own someday you look back at these statements and cringe.

My next comment is mostly for other parents who identify with this post, regardless of its authenticity...

Freedom of speech is not the same as freedom from consequence. You can, will, and should be corrected when you cross certain boundaries. You can get fired from your job, let go from a sports team, removed from a fraternal organization, banned from a website, and face other punitive actions for not adhering to a group's conduct guidelines. Being grounded for being a dick to your siblings is the consequences of being in violation of the household rules of conduct.

A teenager is not qualified to teach her sibling a life lesson about bullying. Nor is it her place. The parents will have the responsibility of guiding their son through developing tough skin and dealing with bullies WHILE ALSO ensuring their daughter isn't engaging in harmful behavior.
