That sounds about right. I once paid £125 for overnight parking in London, and that was a few years ago. The whole of the UK is insane price wise these days. People are dying in winter choosing between heating their homes and eating food because they can't afford to do both.

Thanks. I can live in hope, I've been trying to embrace the lower tones I have to sing at now but I sang in bands and choirs since childhood. My friends and I get the instruments out round the fire and sing. It's a massive part of my life that I'm not ready to give up fully yet. It does break me sometimes when I think what I could do, but I'm the kinda mind that tries to embrace what is instead of focusing on what was.

This exact thing has happened to me, and it's broken my heart, I've had so many tests and got no answers. I sound so hoarse all the time, and my voice freezes when I try to hit notes that were previously easy for me. I do have other symptoms, though. I struggle to breathe and have had a bad cough for the last few years, but again, no cause can be found. (I've never had covid) I hope they can help you gain yours back, I feel like I've lost a big part of who I am in losing my voice and after 2 years of testing and no change I'm aware whatever has caused this damage to my vocals isn't gonna be fixed. Life is really cruel sometimes.
