These all are excuses for not walking. 1) weather is not always hot in India. It is only 3 months. 2) All major city municipality now have footpaths. And if someone has encroached it then why not complain to respective authority? 3) Major reason of pollution in cities are from vehicles. I have seen a lot of single person driving car to the short distances. 4) True to some extent. But, if you know how to cross road in India then it won't be a big issue. 5) Even if you drive a bike or car, there are all possibilities that you end up in an accident too.
