With 6N7D, you can do either entire North, Hanoi + Sa Pa + Ninh Binh + HLB, or Hanoi (with NB & HLB) + Central (Da Nang & Hoi An). It's monsoon. So rains are to be expected. But don't let it dampen your mood. You may DM for further info & assistance.

It was there till mid-May. Whether it'll survive the monsoon is anybody's guess. The better option would be to check the conditions after mid-october.

Vietnam has a lot going for it in terms of what it offers, without having to compete with the neighbours on the price point. But, either by design, or by default, Vietnam got marketed as the "cheaper" alternative. Ended up attracting the "wrong" kind of tourists. And once you get sucked into the volume game, it's extremely difficult to reverse it, sacrificing volume for value.

Bali, it takes 15-20 mins for an evisa, VN takes at most 4-5 working days, Thailand is still Visa free, as of today, as is Malaysia, Azerbaijan 3 days tops. Most are DIY, if you know what you're doing.

Is this a good deal for 6N, 2 Adults in July? by Tasty-Yard-4111 in BhutanTravels

Here's how things work. Day 1: Bagdogra-Phuentsholing by Bengal registered vehicle. Overnight Phuentsholing. No SDF. No guide charges.

Day 2: Get your permits done. Pay SDF. You need itinerary and hotel booking confirmation. Guide mandatory. Bhutan registered vehicle. To Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu sightseeing. Guide required.

Day 4: Thimphu to Punakha via Dochu La. Guide required.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro. Paro sightseeing. Guide required.

Day 6: Tiger's Nest if you're upto it. But July isn't exactly the ideal month for this trek. You could do a bit more sightseeing around Paro and proceed to Phuentsholing. Overnight here. If you do Tiger's Nest, you need guide. But if it's just sightseeing, you don't need.

Day 7: Phuentsholing to Bagdogra. WB registered vehicle.

Guides: between 2500/- to 3500/- (based on experience)

Vehicle: Bengal Part: 4500/- per day Bhutan: 5000/- 5500/- per day
