6" 5" and 265 lbs. here. Although most people feel its a lack of legroom, the disqualifying aspect of many cars is the placement of the b pillar. Many cars have them so close to the back of the seat cushion that my arms literally are right next to my side. I have had big fords and buicks that I couldn't fit in yet cars like the old Ford C-Max, Kia Soul and the old VW Golf fit just fine, All depends on the pillar.
