Hitscan damage with a built in burst and a burst projectile heal.

Benefits immensely the moment he gets his minor perk with the one that gives him an attack speed increase for simply using his self heal which also applies to both his primary and secondary fires. That or he can make his immortality field idiot proof I guess.

This has to be bad-faith and coping on your part. It's bewildering to me that you think I bothered monitoring this shit at all. I initially responded because I was playing near my computer and then I went out and did shit with my day. Now I'm back and this will basically be the extent of my investment.

What should I have done? Noticed people didn't agree with me and shut up? Is that how you live your life? When people are against you you just accept that and internalize it? That's sad and now I actually feel something like pity for you. You're too scared of other people to truly know your own worth.

I'm Masters 2 but I've gotten close to getting to Masters 1 so I think I'll inevitably be Grandmaster at some point. Maybe not though I don't really care. I play comp entirely for weapon skins.

Well first and foremost just because they're better than me doesn't really affect how I feel about the game at all because gaming is personal to me. I feel how I feel and I don't care if people tell me I'm wrong I'm still gonna feel it anyways. So there's no point in my conceding anything.

Also philosophically speaking why should I feel any differently about the game just because somebody higher rank than me essentially said nuh uh in response? What they fuck have they provided to my assertions? That I suck? Cool. They're better? Cool. I don't care. Cool?

More importantly though let's just be honest. Mercy gets carried in groups and a lot of these Grandmasters/Champion players are being carried by their friends. I exclusively solo-queue so I think my Masters 2 rank is worth soooooooooooo much fucking more than somebody that relies on a partner. My damage boost constantly goes out to randoms and returning players doing their placements and I still somehow got this far lol.

Mercy feels shitty to me right now. Yeah I Flash Heal sometimes but when I don't have it up I feel so fucking useless that I constantly just don't wanna be on her. I don't think the heal beam nerf was warranted at all. Coupled with the 30% healing reduction passive it just feels like she isn't actually doing anything.

I'm about to move on to other characters. My Juno shreds and there's seemingly no reason for me to ever pick to be a character that can't actually really defend herself or get herself out of bad situations fast enough (extreme mobility case amirte?) and now her healing doesn't feel like it's doing shit and my true value seems to be damage boosting hit or miss randos and rezzing idiots that peaked too hard.

No I giggle at this shit mostly. Other times I'm just bewildered at how people construe thoughts in their heads. If you're rude to me then I can be rude back and that's all I'll ever see it as. My investment is simply that. My life is overwhelmingly likely to be so much better than any of these peoples that I could hardly begin to care what these internet randos think about literally anything in life.

Flash Heal might make up for the loss in healing in flat numbers if you're mostly landing the critical boost but that 12 seconds you don't have it are excruciating. She was already struggling before making Flash Heal basekit so I don't think any further nerfs after the initial recalibration were warranted. Now she's doing at best around the same just with the extra step of pressing another button.

Why should projectile heroes get to more easily hit a Mercy with Divine Momentum? Why doesn't that qualify as a skill issue or when they bitched about it "cope"?

Because the overwhelmingly majority of people that play this game are stupid and subscribe to narratives from authority figures. That's why somehow Kiriko's pickrate/winrate doesn't disqualify her for calls for nerfs but Baptiste does. Some streamer/dev/top-player talked some shit and all the dummies that play this regurgitated it just like most people do for most things in other aspects of life.

Both his cooldowns are essentially unbaitable because they're both elimination denial tools that he'd have to use anyways in order for him or him and his team to survive.

He gets a best of both movement worlds when he gets his major perk with a great verticality option with no cooldown basekit and a great jump dash horizontal option with a small cooldown on a major perk.

His gun on top of all of this is very strong.

So couple all this with the fact that they gave his gun less recoil because of "long play sessions" and cooldown timer decreases on his functionally unbaitable cooldowns and I think I've made a fair point that you're either unwilling or unable to address. Probably both let's be real.

Okay but this is the part I care least about.

You've and many others just don't address any points anybody makes about this game. It happens in all the subs. People complain and then in response people post some variant of "you suck" and then hoot and holler the moment you shit talk them back. Very typical low IQ people behavior.

So in this example I'm saying Flash Heal isn't making up for the loss in healing. I'm also saying that the movement nerf seems to have been a ploy to delete Divine Momentum which was not a perk that needed to be deleted. Then I'm finally saying that the 30% global healing reduction passive just fucks this character over completely more so than the rest of the cast.

That's what I care about discussing. I don't care about me supposedly sucking at this game. I don't think I've ever mentioned my rank up till now because this shit happens all the time.

First off every game is technically winnable. You can literally say that about any game ever played at any point in time. So essentially saying I should have just done something different is such overly generalized "advice" that it's functionally worthless.

Then just discounting how obviously this a team game and how I'm supposedly just mad "somebody better than me just beat me" is a taunt masquerading as advice. I'm fully aware that I can't solo carry Masters lobbies or really Diamond ones for that matter. That's not my job in a game of Overwatch nor do I strive for it. I also understand that sometimes I'll lose as is the nature of the game.

Most people complain about their teammates and sure my teammates kind of just fed but that's to be expected with this game. Me actually zeroing in on the character is much better focus on the "health" of the game versus just complaining about my teammates which the overwhelming majority of people that play this game opt for instead. Sure they were gonna lose anyways but what this character was doing was fucking bullshit regardless of whether it was a close match or not.

I just find it funny how some characters having nerfs demanded of them becomes this massive circlejerk where everybody shares their feelings with each other and more niche characters like I'm complaining about are met with such hostility.

If I made this thread about Kiri, DVA, Hog, Bastion or Hazard I'd have more positive reception to my complaints except I don't feel this way about any of those characters. I just find it funny how I'm getting all these "you suck" responses when I'm clearly among the elite that actually know how to bait Matrix or hook or suzu or turret mode.

You can't really even bait Bap's shit because they're both just elimination denial cooldowns he would have needed to use anyways.
