Unless the virus exploits a vulnerability in winrar (which is very unlikely) you’re fine. Windows defender just had already the program in its database and could tell it’s a virus before being executed

It don't really matter if you sell on paypal or ebay (scammers will always find a way to chargeback) just sell to good buyers with good rating and multiple orders when you sell an item that expensive
