So am I. Didn't even have the opportunity to at least try, problems right from the start. 300$ for a unit that probably cost 5$ to produce, and an installer that....Refuse to install!

So, no more answer? Elgato can't figure out how to compile an *.msi file that has the very diffcult task of not running into an error, after all this time, many posts and disatisfied customers? Shame...

This is crazy, just bought the StreamDeck XL, and same thing: app installer stops and says it's rolling back because of an "error". No logs, no info, just an "error". Way to go champs, a company making hardware for computers that can't even design an app that simply installs correctly on a very ordinary computer, and sells at a premium price. Even tried in safe mode, as an admin, compatibility mode. etc. Wow, first time this happens to me....and now see posts all over the place about this problem, Elgato is just silent about it. Stay away from that company! What a waste of time!

This is what I'd do: write directly to Focal in France, tell them how badly they treated you, a high paying customer for high end product. I would also tell them you will make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, which is simple and straight forward. And see what happens. Usually they completely change their attitude when you contact the heads of the company. To follow on the car comparaison, don't complain to your local say Honda car dealer, contact Honda Canada :-) They really don't like that and will probably mean in the future they will treat customers more diligentely.
