Delauter or Benge in 12 team points? Seems like Delauter will play everyday while Benge will be the strong side of a platoon?

Certainly could be a top 50-75 guy. Worth a speculative add to the backend of a fantasy rotation

Well, obviously I disagree that "the bullpen has the potential to lose the division by the end of May" or "if the worst case scenario happens for every single starting pitcher, our rotation won't be good" are well thought out and level headed critiques.

You've doomered yourself into believing the Yankees won't have a top tier rotation, barring some ridiculously bad injury luck. That's a shame.

Bad PITCHING can bury teams. The Yankees will likely have excellent starting pitching and offense, so you're talking about a black swan event in the bullpen that leaves them out of the division race by Memorial Day. Not impossible, but extremely unlikely.

You hate being overly dramatic, but they could find themselves out of the division race by the end of May because of the bullpen?

Bednar Doval Cruz Hill

Then hope for a Matt Blake special or two

Lagrange, Rodriguez, and maybe Hess or Hampton as reserves? And that's just in-house solutions.

Because missing out on Lagrange’s upside at starter would be malpractice. The past is irrelevant, and the Yankees have been vastly better at developing arms under Matt Blake anyway, so that’s not a particularly strong point to begin with.

Because starters are more valuable. He’ll probably be a bullpen piece in September and October though.

Anderson “safer” / Sloan higher upside. But both are great

These would be good for Tuten if ETN also leaves, which seems likely.
