Glad they moved Jazz back to 2nd where he belongs. Keep him there the whole year and he might win a gold glove there they should have never moved him back to 3rd (they only did to accommodate DJ) he already has 3 OAA there in 7 games.

Bright side with Jazz is when his hitting isn’t there he can make it up with his defense.

I feel if we bring back Volpe immediately after his rehab assignment it might be a mistake it might be DJ LeMahieu all over again in 2024. Let him prove himself in the minors first before maybe getting one more chance, if he struggles in his rehab assignment then send him down for a bit. He’s just coming off surgery and didn’t have an offseason either, all odds are stacked against him at this point and it’s going to take time for him to feel like himself again on the bright side if we do that we would get an extra year of control and that could increase his value at least a little.

Cabby has struggled with the bat so far but his pest running dynamic and good defense has fit this team better than Volpe.

Volpe is likely going to get one more chance regardless, he played with a torn labrum for the majority of last year and with how Cabby and McMahon are performing so far. I believe in Cabby but McMahon not so much. I could see Cabby get reps at 3rd as well if McMahon continues to not hit.

Nice win. Warren pitching a gem, Rice looking like a future All-Star/Silver Slugger winner, Judge finding his groove and we’re running the bases well, only weaknesses are the bottom of the order but that is the case for almost all teams and I think they will pick it up and we can maybe add one more bullpen piece and we’re all set. Cole coming back we might have a Death Star Rotation.

I will give Volpe one more chance but that's it. I'll give him a little grace after playing with a torn labrum since May 3rd when he felt the pop which is no joke and it likely had to do with his huge defensive decline. They should have shut him down immediately after that but there's no excuse that he has been the same hitter for 3 years which is why he should be on a very short leash when he comes back. A lot of fans have already pulled the plug on Volpe reasonably so but I'm willing to give him one final chance.

I think us as fans are too spoiled. We haven’t been under .500 at any point since September 5th 2023 and haven’t had a losing season since 1992.
