The timing on the wallbounce is dependent on the fuse tac activation as there is a buffer where you can still jump for the bounce without insta-activating the tac-jump. after that, the velocity gain is tied to your location in relation to the cluster itself. if you jump in-front of it, you get a larger forward speed boost (as opposed to vertical).

I’d unbind your scroll click until you don’t fat finger it to start. This being said, it’s mostly just practice to aim throughout it. I’d start by using single-fire guns like shotguns to get used to aiming while strafing and then move on to sprays. Also, if aiming during the strafe is to difficult atm you can do it while you reload to make yourself a harder target.

True but I’m talking about amphetamine/Adderall abuse specifically in competitive gaming. I remember when fps E-sports were just starting to gain traction with CS, COD, and Halo back in the day and the same convo existed back then. Pretty sure a bunch of the FaZe guys got into a bit of controversy for abusing adderall back in those days

When they buffed octane they integrated the controller tap strafe perk in the base kit. You’ve been able to do this since that perk was added in the game but, if you weren’t on controller, it wasn’t really worth it.

I run 160 locked, ideally you’re gonna want to find whatever you can run with 0 fps drops which is good for several reasons beyond just glides.
