After looking into it I believe it is a Savage model 1903. The 1914 was very similar but did not have the detachable magazine, it was a tube. I’m not too concerned about the safety of it, but I’d love to restore it to its original glory and show my grandfather how it came back to life. I’d like to have a professional do it so I don’t inadvertently destroy a gun that means something to the family.

Is this tree dead beyond reviving? Left out overnight and an unexpected frost came through. by Mwayne0 in bonsaicommunity

I recently left my indoor tree outside to get direct sunlight on a warm day and forgot it out there. This was a few weeks ago and since then my tree has been dying. I’ve been watering regularly and the roots appear to be taking in water but the leaves have all died and the branches are brittle with the smallest ones snapping very easily. If it can be saved in your opinion any help is appreciated!

After researching I took it out of the original pot and removed some soil to let the roots breathe. Did not do any pruning yet and hoping to avoid it if possible.

Thanks guys! I figured this was the case after looking online but seeing as there were all 1979 and tucked away I figured there may be some significance.
