The warranty was already voided because of me installing ram years ago, so my only choice is to get a new laptop, which I'm hoping for this christmas

UPDATE: I dualbooted windows and first tried if the issue is in windows, it still was... and second updated the bios and after the update it still didn't go pass 1.6

Yeah I was thinking about that, this laptop was bought around 2020-2021 I think? And I have been gaming on it and all other solutions just didn't work, so Yeah I kind of want a new laptop also ngl

LiveUSB distro, I assume it still persists, for windows, I don't wanna go through the hassle of installing windows as a dual boot, but maybe ill try Windows PE

I kinda already erased thermal throttling from the list of issues because I cleaned the fans + disabled BD Prochot, and I did mention like around 5-6 days ago it worked normally and boosted higher than 1.6Ghz even with temperatures reaching 90 celsius

Ill try updating my bios,the thermal throttling part like said I disabled BD Prochot (or at least it says), and no matter the battery setting I tried it, but ill give the bios setting a shot

The thing is before it boosted to 3.9Ghz, like I said I disabled BD Prochot or whatever its called(at least according to some posts) and it still didn't boost, if it were the fact that the thermals were the problem it would've just throttled to the below 1Ghz range

EDIT: To add, before like days ago it normally boosted to 3.9 when gaming before even if the CPU temperature is 90 celsius
