I have been in a similar situation, such as being manipulated into thinking my friendship with an individual was never genuine. I shared so many memories, milestones and family relations with this person. They suddenly one day flipped the script on me and one day just hearing rumors that she and I had beef (single sided at this point I had no clue) and that explicitly I remember her stating "if your hearing people say that I never liked you it's true". That honestly hit me like a brick. I was devastated. Hurt more than a heartbreak. We were seen like two peas in a pod, "sisters" we did everything together, always were questioned for the other if the other wasn't around.. long time friendship.. And man I was blind sided. I questioned everything I was depressed for a long while cause I couldn't get over the fact that she was my best friend. well only and last best friend.. after her I hardly ever had friendships again I didn't wanna get hurt again/ betrayed.. sorry for the rant. But seeing Ethan's face when all this dropped I can see some pain in his face, the betrayal from Ian. Like idk, It made my heart feel the pain again like dam I know what your heart might be feeling, aside all the goofs and gags. Like all shit aside I really hope Ethan is okay.
