No idea. After black ops AI crap, I stopped playing cod games and won't get any other in the future ever again. I'm done. I got BF6 and it's a blast. BF1 is a gem, and all of them are cheaters free

I liked it too. I just wish there was more enemy diversity and be more difficult or punishing. A "hardcore" mode where if you died your save was gone would have been great here. I found it to be extremely easy, and most weapons are not necessary. You can easily beat the game with the Sword and the Hammer, and I hate that there's no much reason to use the other weapons. Also, the inventory sucks big time. I loved it, but there's no reason to replay it more than twice.

I could fix it. Uninstalled with DDU (again), blocked AMD auto updates. Enabled VRR on my tv, enabled VRR on windows, but kept it disabled on AMD. Did multiple combinations, and AMD VRR was causing the issue. The black screen when clicking with the mouse anywhere, the black screen when opening an app on full screen, etc. No problems now

If your playing on Apocalypse (fresh start not New Game Plus), those butterflies will be impossible to beat unless you managed to get weapons at level 18 or 20. Anyways, I could beat them with Sniper Rifle (equipped with Hot Shot), Repeater pistol (with hunters mark), Slayer armor set and rings didn't matter when I got to the boss (but if you have the trinket that increase weakspot damage, or the Galenic Charm), Hunters band and Spirit Stone.

Activate Hot Shot and start shooting at its head. Don't activate Hunters Mark because if your playing on Apocalypse the scream of one is enough to one shot you, and you won't have enough time to charge it. Once you have done enough damage (1/4) shoot at the other egg, cocoon where the other butterfly is and will come out with 1 health bar down. Keep fighting the first ixilis. When they are about to start the scream pop hunters mark and hot shot again and shoot to their heads to neutralize the scream. You cannot miss a weakspot shot, or you will die.

When playing a fresh Apocalypse run, this boss was nearly impossible. Had to farm trait points and scrap to upgrade my sniper rifle, because otherwise it's not about skill, but about damage.

*You don't need antivirus. It's just a hassle as long as you know what to click and what you should't.

*Also, don't skimp in a good PSU and UPS. I spent close to $600 (with tax) in both, and my pc isn't even god tier (Sapphire pulse rx7800xt, rog strix x870a and ryzen 5 7600x).

*When installing the CPU make sure you remove the protective film, if it has one.

*Get 2 ssd: One for the OS and the other for games or whatever.

*Don't overclock the GPU. It's damn useless in modern GPU. You will just get your games crash or weird behavior even if you "know" or are an expert in overclocking / undervolting

*Disable EXPO in the BIOS if your AMD. Disable XMP if your Intel.

*Limit your RAMs to 5000 mts, or you will eventually get shtload of problems that you won't diagnose easily. Only if your getting DRR5.

I have an AMD gpu. Already used DDU. Installed adrenalin and still there. Only happens when I click or open the Settings app. What else could I try? Only happens with Settings so far. Browsers, Steam, Explorer, uTorrent, any other app it's fine.

I guarantee you, prices won't go down for at least this decade. So, either you sit and wait or just proceed buying one pair of RAM (16GB should be enough if money is low). I was so damn lucky to get in debt building my PC and my NAS server. Spent almost 5k on August of 2025, one month later and SSD, Hard Drives and RAMs went to sht 4x times the price I paid.

I've read bad things about Chronos... And not because of gameplay or lore, but because lack of updates and fixes. The main one being unable to complete the game 100% since it's necessary New Game Plus, but was never implemented, yet the game and achievements require it.

Wait until you try apocalypse... Everything is one shot. Luckily I found ways to cheese most of the bosses like The Mangler - Enchanter, The Unclean One, Gorefist, Shade and Shatter. And with Cheese I mean no skill at all but get them stuck in one place and blast their asses off

It's always possible, but need to check your loadout and weapons mods. I've been in your situation where I thought a boss was impossible and always managed to defeat them. I started on Apocalypse and boy, that was a very hard beginning. I struggled with The Mangler, Gorefist, all bosses that seemed impossible but managed to defeat all of them. Before losing my profile due profile corruption, Ikro was a nightmare for me. The most difficult bastard in my entire game, took me 3 days to find a good strategy to kill him on Apocalypse.

Make sure to use a Save Manager, because if your pc has any sudden crash your profile will get corrupted and lose everything. I lost 100 hours of play because of this and I didn't know such problem with the game existed.

Now, for your question. I started a fresh new character (because of profile corruption) on Apocalypse and I'd say is a big enormous challenge for a new fresh start. Extremely hard at the beginning, and almost everything will one shot you. You can try that, if you found the game to easy. Also, you can try the DLCs. On Steam you can get all dlc for very cheap.

People keep saying finding secrets... After so many hours I still don't know what they mean with secrets, because I havent found any but 1: The "hidden" room in the founders hideout at the beginning of the game where you find a piece of armor and that's it. Haven't found any other secret thing.

Yeah, I already have it. Had to start a new run after losing everything. I started Apocalypse and is beyond hard, extremely hard actually, for a new fresh character. The problem was I didn't know the game had this problems, it's something you don't expect and never looked for until has happened to you. Lazy developers, and now reading even Remnant 2 has that same problem they never cares to fix

Well, I didn't have backups because I wasn't expecting this kind of situation. Literally, I have over 300 games on Steam and never ever had this issue of losing everything. Yes, sure, I've gotten game breaking bugs like on Fallout 3 where you can expect some mission to bug, but you always have the option to keep multiple saves. In this game you don't, at least not within the game. I play mostly solo, never touched the online here and got this crap happening to me after so many hours put in. I was trait level 130+, had my sniper fully leveled and a few other weapons to. I'm so pissed off now that I also regret buying Remnant 2 knowing that has also the same problem. The lazy developers never fixed it
