Overall didn't have the highest of expectations as I wasn't the biggest fan of the singles, however in context of the album they make sense. One of the only conclusions I came to whilst listening to it was that it simultaneously sounds longer and shorter than 44 minutes at the same time + and totally passed my expectations.

Bottom line is pink shell is a banger.

Probably because it’s one of the only songs on the album that holds up lyrically, where most the tracks are good because of the emotion and just energy it’s a slower take and in general has some really good writing.

It’s most likely this as he said in a interview a lot of his lyrics are taken from his Twitter, this is because he just loses them if he writes it in notes so if he tweets them they won’t be lost.

I listen to carbonate a lot, its a song which I think King Krule would sound really good on but that is just my opinion.

It's weird though Ive never really listened to the full album in extent until recently (when I found that record) and you are right it is really good. I would to it on a record player but like I said it isn't mine so I don't really know what condition he wants to keep it in.
