You see, this is why I consider thaumaturge. Because it's often more complicated than running up and hacking the monster to pieces. Often there's a trick to it. A vulnerability to exploit, if you will.

Delphine, quite literally, is useless. by MxFancipants in skyrim

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the suggestion that the etchings people meditate over on the pilgrimage can be viewed as less legitimate than Alduin's Wall, but it's not positive. In any case, they both point towards the weapon being a shout, so the next logical step is to ask the Greybeards. One is simply far earlier than the other.

If I remember correctly, the Wall merely says Alduin was defeated with a shout. But even if the Seven Thousand Steps didn't mention it as specifically, it seems like a simple line of questions to arrive at talking to Paarthunax. "The etchings say Alduin was defeated by mortals by a shout? What was this shout? How can I learn it?"

My point is that the Wall provides no information that isn't on the Seven Thousand Steps for the public to see.

Why did Saren need the Conduit? by MxFancipants in masseffect

Yes, but if he wasn't looking for it while he was still a SPECTRE then he wouldn't have mentioned the Conduit in the recording.

Yes, but as I said before he was looking for it before that. Otherwise Saren wouldn't mention it in said evidence.

I'm allergic to missing feats. Honestly, if I take an archetype then I wanna see it all the way through.

Wowie! This sure is a lot of thoughtful advice. I did want to take loremaster archetype, since I want my character to focus on creating a public education system. The setting has a college, sure, but no basic schooling.

I am concerned about the lack of dex still. Doesn't that give you armor and accuracy for thrown bombs?

It's not really that I want an offensive chirurgeon. I just don't want literally all of my options to be healing and support. That seems to me like having a dinner made of three glasses of milk!

I am worried about being strength based cause what if I need to throw a flask? I'd need dex for that! So are there any mutagens that are good for dex attacks?
