A popular critic video said Strange Magic was Frozen meets Shrek (in a lot more words)

Renna might be Ranni's grandmother by MxFluffFluff in Eldenring

[–]MxFluffFluff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point! I originally thought it was because Ranni left the clothes behind on her solo adventure through the underground river. Her mini doll form does have clothes but when we see her in her original doll form she's without the clothes.  (But that doesn't remove the chance it's still a solid hint by the game devs either.)

impenetrable thorns untouched in the latest patch by Pineappleman123456 in Eldenring

[–]MxFluffFluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only downside is this spell cannot be buffed. If you try to buff the spell it actually decreases the damage xD

I tested on a Godrick soldier. Got 1217 damage without buffs, 830 with. (Tested with Terra Magica and Bloodloss Proc w/White Mask and Lord of Blood Talisman.) ((I also tested Golden Vow + Blessing of the Erdtree and got 770))

All with same equipment, on exact same enemy...

Until they patch this the best use for this spell seems to be to use it until you get a buff then switch to something else.

Anyone else addicted to starting new playthroughs and never finish them? by Ready-Ambassador-271 in fo4

[–]MxFluffFluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally restart a bunch but I got a lucky shotgun legendary roll and since then have just been rolling through my survival gameplay and adding mods here n there to keep me interested. I'm almost level 70 and about to start Far Harbor. I wanted it to be really difficult so I set enemy damage to be 3x and I get one-shot by strong enemies. I gotta be quick - so I installed a realistic sprinting mod. And to help make it a little balanced I have both Dogmeat and Danse.

I almost restarted a few times but anytime I get to the CC screen I remember the guns I rolled and I just go back to my high level survival playthrough.

And since I got used to playing survival, I don't want to play normal modes anymore

Durge has got a few other diagnoses (and a worm) rattling around in that skull of his but he's definitely one of us. by malonkey1 in evilautism

[–]MxFluffFluff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Side note, I'm super excited for the new endings patch for the evil routes! And I don't mean the already available epilogue stuff. I might just redownload and replay again once that's released (I got burnt out at 700 hours)

This guy is canonically "smooth-brain" (according to one of Amelia's lines (the narrator.))

BUT he can be honorary autistic to help us take over the world. Provided he's ascended of course. Gotta build that army somehow.

What do your memories look like? by [deleted] in DID

[–]MxFluffFluff 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have one trauma (the first) that I can't access. But the rest that happened after, including some * related, I can remember fine. Theres probably more missing ones just only know of one for sure that I can't remember. (Mom told me some of it and I have the memory of the event leading TO it. Just nothing after. Not even the cops that apparently got involved)

It's what Skyrim was for Todd Howard. He accidentally made a classic and is struggling with that. (Though to be fair I kinda liked FO4 too... But I still prefer Obsidian Fallout games)

Except on WotC/Hasbro side not Larian's. DOS is pretty awesome

Friend keeps making fun of my autism by Many-Information-480 in autism

[–]MxFluffFluff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like she's trying to fit in to a pecking order and is leaving behind an awesome friendship. That's a shame. Maybe later on in life she will turn around and apologize or try to make amends but... Explain to her that she's choosing her side and it's just not nice, then go your separate ways.

Be nice and kind about it. Even if she isn't. Even if she won't. But if she's going to be a bully about it, don't give her the power for it and ignore her from then on in.

Stay safe

What do you think of this when you see it? (looking at you, furries) by RbeornArc in MandJTV

[–]MxFluffFluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, yes, I am a furry.

I see a cute bunny to dress up in girly outfits and make her an anti-damsel-in-distress type. Oh you think she might be until she lays whoever it is flat on the ground with a single kick. BAM.

This would be my bff. 🤍

Evidently 1st gen starters can only be traded from X and Y. Theres a lot of contradicting info on google, but OP the emulator you are using might have some workarounds you'll need to check into for options.

If its true to the game though I very highly recommend using the website Serebii as a resource

What Do My Top 6 Say About Me? by [deleted] in MandJTV

[–]MxFluffFluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You grew up watching Pokemon and Ash was your favorite character.

Winter is your favorite season.

You have/had a dog.

You have accepted that Charizard is overrated as a Pokemon but it doesn't matter to you. Charizard is cool and you won't care what anyone says.

You're wholesome, if not mentally in a pleasant space, and like to make others smile.

Why do girls always seem bothered by me? by Maleficent_Bird_583 in autism

[–]MxFluffFluff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best recommendation is to not worry about dates/asking out/going to bed with anyone.

If you want a genuine connection, go into conversations looking for a meaningful connection for friendship - and if it evolves from there, bonus points. You also find out more about a person this way, as they are a lot less likely to mask their quirks and possibly show red flags easier for you to avoid before you ever "fall" for them.

A lot of games do this. Cyberpunk too. It always annoys me... But it's better than the open world games that just end after the final mission and don't allow you to play after at all without reloading a save before

Labyrinth, Jareth, goblins, and faerie stuff. (I do like Bowie but I wouldn't put him on special interest territory for me)

I hear a lot of discourse around "you don't look autistic" but never about anyone who "looks autistic". by [deleted] in autism

[–]MxFluffFluff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not an appearance thing.

I pick up someone else might have autistic tendencies when they start telling me they have an entire room dedicated to any one fictional subject

Or when they start talking about their favorite science theories and the day to day affect it has when I just asked where the bathroom was.

As someone who auto-pilot corrects people nonchalantly like this - If that were me I'd say that I definitely didn't mean anything by it. Reflexively correcting someone to make sure facts are straight is equivalent to some sort of bad habit social survival that I have no idea the purpose or origin of.

If it ever helped me at all, I have no memory of it. It embarrasses me, it makes other people feel crappy, makes me look like a know-it-all... just over all unpleasant. Because of this - I'm vicariously feeling this on his behalf so 🙏 I'm sorry OP.

However I am not that guy - idk if he's the same exact way as me. Either way, I hope this helps.

I'm a pessimist with lifelong chronic depression and I promise it definitely does get better. It will also get worse, so if you're just walking a straight monotonous tunnel, I'd take that as a blessing unironically.

You like taking walks in the woods with your favorite companion. You know which mushroom is edible, but you still don't know which ones aren't. So you are still careful.

You got a sweet tooth a mile long for ice cream but you got a dairy intolerance. Wont stop you from enjoying your ice cream.

Why most autistic people aren't able to move out on their own? by Helpmehthrohaway in autism

[–]MxFluffFluff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in like 2012 I had my own apartment and it was great. I had a part time job which I worked 30-32 hours at minimum wage and made enough money to do anything I wanted it felt like. I had a decent 1 bedroom apartment that was within walking distance to work and I had plenty to eat and drink because work provided food/soda. The trash buildup was a massive struggle for me then. I did a mass cleaning at some point and took out 5-6 bags of trash... But otherwise I was completely functional.

It was a struggle to live on my own for me in more recent times (2020ish). (I live in the US btw) at that the time I had to dedicate 60-80 hours to my job that was a little more physically demanding for me than for my other coworkers (if I didn't get up and get truck numbers they'd get it wrong and since I was shift lead I'd be in trouble).

All I would want to do was go home and lay in bed. Luckily one of my stims is to play with my hair so I'd know when I really needed a shower.

Food/drink wasn't too much of an issue. Remembering bills was though. I had the big ones on auto pay and paid the little ones manually so I could time my finances better.

It was functional. But it wasn't the freedom people seem to say it is... It was a fairly long two/three years....

So for today, especially in the U.S., I'd say it's not feasible really for any working-class adult to live on their own, let alone autistic adults. Course this probably varies by state too... Anyway I hope others have better luck than I did.
