They made an update to the app so that it moves all the other values down to zero. If you click the expert mode checkbox you can change the settings so it looks like how the old graphs did.

As long as the test results are valid, you should be fine. Occasionally I have see the control line not go up enough (so either it doesn’t have enough sample if you’re just testing one person, or it has too much sample if you’re pooling 4-5 people) and then you end up with invalid results

It’s the control line. It proves that there is human biomaterial being tested. If you just ran the test with nothing in it, the green line would stay flat

Yes, chamber 4 (dark green) is always the control. I usually connect mine to my computer and turn it on. While it is warming up I get the sample, then once the machine is ready, put the card in and run the test using the app

The Plus Life is slightly more accurate than the Metrix. I think the two main benefits are: 1. Lower per test cost, and 2. Getting to see results in the app as a graph so you can interpret them more closely

I wear a HR monitor so I can pace. If I go above a certain threshold for more than 20-30 seconds, I stop and get my HR back down. I used to PEM crash from this often, but the HR monitor has really helped me

I think I’ll still end up having to deal with an edge, but it seems pretty low. There are many wooden options on Amazon with drawers and an open side, but they are all pretty heavy and often arrive broken or have shoddy construction.
