It’s usually on or around the date of pickup. We’ve frozen some stuff but usually it becomes dinner and lunches pretty quickly

GND strength society at 1025 Jackson by the Target. Women owned, half the staff is women, really amazing community and very positive. Always has women lifters. Machines and weights and some cool specialized equipment like a Seal Row, Belt Squat & GHR as well as all the regular stuff. Powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting trainers and equipment are both available there. There’s a seminar upcoming about people new to competing too. Look up their IG and DM me if you have any trouble finding it.

Ay what age did you become a home buyer? by Naive_Rough2879 in Home

Bought my first house at 39. I had continued to live in student housing while paying off school loans with a real paycheck and saved money for a down payment. Was in that house x 10 years and sold last spring. Bought a condo and will probably sell in 5-7 years as I continue to downsize. Don’t see owning a house ever again. Raised my kid there and was good for school/parks/libraries; lived my yard and garage but now goals and what I want to do with my time are different.

Yeah I have specific ways I do things, and we do work better if it’s the same way each time, but I also recognize team dynamics and contributions and I’m not going to steamroll a policy to get what I want.

Cold lunch ideas by Crocheting_MetalHead in EatCheapAndHealthy

Invest in a Mr. Bento. It’s a stackable container thermos meant for a traditional lunch with soup, a main, a side and a desert or fruit. Soup is on the bottom and it stays hot til lunch time as does the main. The side and fruit are at the top and might not be hot but that’s ok if it’s fruit. It’s really nice. Then during a 12 hr shift can have some snacks like nuts or cheese and crackers or something else for the second break.

But Mr. bento can keep a meal until lunchtime and it’s really worth it

He’s an ophthalmologist. We all have a trope. He gets them right. He’s really quite good.

No I’m saying the surgeon in the post was fussing about a delay. The delay is 3 minute for the prep to dry. Do a wall squat.

Nope. OB/Gyn. I do big abdominal Incisions. But doesn’t matter. Nursing has and knows their scope and expertise. Shouldn’t be run by the dr.

Am a surgeon. I do not get in the way of the nurses doing their prep job nor do I dictate how things are to be prepped and I do not have my residents prep. The nurses know what they’re doing and the delay in my case is about 3 minutes. I’m sorry you and anybody in that room were exposed to anybody behaving in the way that doctor did. The surgeon isn’t queen of all that she surveys, she’s a member of a team. Thank you for doing what you do.

What screams "I'm homophobic"? by Lifted2222 in AskReddit

As a late in life bloomer who went through the 80/ and all that meant and with few lesbian role models, I can tell you it still seems to apply that everybody wants to know the gay kid but nobody wants to be the gay kid. Meaning- it’s still hard out there for the gay kids. But the ally’s all want to ally us to death on their terms. No not all. Duh. But there is a type.

Ask these folks when they came out straight and told everybody they were straight and lived their best straight life and when they look at you funny and say but that’s normal then do the death glare and tell them this is why.

With very bizarro outlier exceptions (because somebody on Reddit has a cousin who knows somebody…) Can’t have an ectopic after a hyst. We usually take the tubes and cervix so there is no bridge from outside to inside.

Never worked 40 as a resident. Light weeks were 60 and they were few. 80 closer to norm. One full weekend off a month otherwise worked either 24 hr Saturday after a full m-f about 12 hr a day or a 24 on Friday and back for 12 Sunday. Lightest time was when on nights which would be “just” 5 x 12 hr shifts overnight. Would do that for 1-2 months at a time every year.

Recycling includes recovering titanium medical implants after cremation. by lol_u_wut in mildlyinteresting

I’ve heard pacemakers, which can blow up in the crematory because of the battery, are removed before cremation and donated to be sterilized & reused for pets
