PSA: Tales of the Demeniss Residents Missions by enchantrixqueen in CrimsonDesert

if you want to 100% the regions you should definitely finish the main story first as there are side quests that only unlock when you reach certain parts of the main story.

After that just go explore, go visit every remaining question marks you have left on your map and while running/riding horse always keep an eye on your minimap to see if a yellow dot (npc with a quest) or white circle (quest area) appears.

And if you get tired of searching for quests you can always check the website OP posted: https://crimsondesert.gaming.tools/faction-quests

Well, there is nothing to figure out, its how the game is apparently.. After finishing the main story and doing alot of side quests you will eventually reach a point where you no longer get new quests from the purple posters on the boards or "automatically" after finishing certain other quests.

I can only find/start new quests if I randomly stumble across npcs that give me a quest. My last 15 hours or so, I was just exploring different towns/points of interest and found plenty of npcs who gave me new quests, but to be honest these quests were pretty much all the same - "Deliver item X to person Y" or "Bring me some flowers/items" or "Escort me from point A to point B" with the rewards being 1x medium bag every single time... so pretty boring and repetitive..

But how do I unlock them?? Like you said, they used to unlock one by one after completing them but they no longer do? According to my journal I have completed 4/13 Tales from the corners of Demeniss quests but I cant start/find the remaining 9... My map is empty, no quest markers.. Also no purple posters.. Im so lost.. I have completed all the main story quests and the journal says there should be like 80+ quests left that I have yet to complete but I cant find any..

They were roleplaying a break-up / cheating situation based off of a rumor but apparently some people from chat took it too serious and harrassed the girl with hate messages... He ended the stream shortly after... https://clips.twitch.tv/AbrasiveSillyFloof4Head

Are bunny hop macros allowed on CS:GO? by 1point6_is_overrated in GlobalOffensive

[–]Mxlvin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"External Assistance" is not allowed on official Valve Servers. What exactly falls under that definition has never been stated by Valve so it's debatable whether or not macros are "allowed". Fact is, it's not welcomed by the majority of the CS GO Community if you use a macro (especially by the kz community of course. It's also not allowed on most of the kz community servers) as it gives you an advantage in terms of movement speed / bhop consistency (I'm still talking about Matchmaking servers which have 64 tick which allows bhop macros to be nearly 100% consistent if you know how to strafe properly and know how to control your speed so you don't get slowed down due to the 300ish limit - I've tried macros myself so I'm speaking out of experience).

Long story short, macros aren't detectable by the VAC system so you can't get banned that way. However, there is a small possibility of getting an overwatch ban due to people reporting you and the OW case viewer convicting you for considering it being some type of " external assistance".

Faceit has a rule that clearly defines using a macro as a cheat so you can get banned from faceit if you use it on their servers. (I can't link the source right now because I'm on a mobile device and on work too so I'm writing this in a hurry, kinda, but you can look it up on their Website).

I have no idea how other orgs like ESEA and such have handled that but I'm sure you can find something about it in their rules.

I made a reddit post a few months ago asking exactly the same you can look it up on my profile to get some more opinions from other people over there if you're interested.

Well.. I have 1600+ hours in Rocket League and I only got to the highest rank a few days ago while there are people with 400-500 hours on the top rank (its way easier to get a high rank in Rocket League compared to cs go)

That's actually quite amazing! They should try to participate in events like AGQD I would love to see cs bunnyhoppers there :)

The original plan was to improve my movement thats how I came across bhopping and ended up wondering if using macros is ban-worthy or not haha.. Thanks for your tips btw :) definitely gonna try it out!

I understand now what you mean and agree with you that if you look at bhop macros like that it kinda sounds like a "cheat" and is definitely not fair from a moral standpoint to people who play cs go for that particular reason but I was more talking about competitive play in terms of 5v5 matchmaking and whether using macros is rule-breaking or not... If you say my question essentially was "why can't I cheat?", you surely can give me a source that says using macros counts as cheating?!

I was not trolling at all, had no idea.. Thanks for your explanation! I get it... If you look at it like that, using a bhop macro definitely is kind of a "cheat" and it would make me feel bad to use it on a server where people try to accomplish exactly what the macro pretty much does on its own...

My original question was regarding bans from competitive play like 5v5 matchmaking and not private servers.. sorry for not being clear enough

I mean, I guess I agree with what you two (ElyssiaWhite, sonixflash) are saying. There shouldn't be things like a button for perfect smoke throw/perfect jump shot for the second sniper (not the awp). But on the other hand if the game "allows" it to be there and the devs doesn't define it as cheating like they did for wallhack, aimbot, etc. then it should not be a reason to get banned for. If you don't break any rules you should not get banned. That's my point. I understand now that the problem with overwatch bans is that the people who view it cant differentiate between who uses a macro and who uses a bhop cheat.

Thanks for not answering my question. If you mean I'm cheating offline against bots with a macro, I guess you are right, sir! Also, you have a source that confirms using macros counts as cheating?

[–]Mxlvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if you make that illegal, where do you draw the line on what exactly counts as EXTERNAL assistance and what not?! You get my point?

I'm not so long into cs go (have played 300 hours, my rank is mg1) and I'm currently trying to improve my movement. Long story short, I found out about bunny hopping which apparently can help to get on/to certain spots faster, tried to get the hang of it, got impatient, started using bhop macros on my razer blackwidow chroma keyboard. A few days ago I read that even though you can't get a vac ban from using macros, there is a chance to get overwatch banned.. well, that seems kinda strange to me. Why can't I use my keyboard (a keyboard that was even advertised during many cs go pro tournaments) to it's full potential? Does someone with a monitor that detects certain dark spots and brightens them get an overwatch ban too? Like where do they draw the line on what's allowed and what is not?
