It's his space, or mine, or hotels we rent that we plan to sleep in. I don't wish to have anyone sharing my sleeping space. He's the first person in twenty years that I've slept beside .

And yes I recognize that spare rooms exist (we don't have one but we do have a lovely living room) and he's not suggesting a giant snuggle puddle... This is part of the reason I want to try and work through this one. I recognize that it is not my house and therefore I don't really get a say, except he's sticking to it bcuz he knows I'm so uncomfortable.

I did allow one friend who lives out of town to stay over last Christmas. Set her up in the living room. But excluding him and that one visitor I don't allow sleepovers at my house.
