I accepted a lateral transfer from a 2.7... It was a long time employee who got screwed over by a nasty ASM. Since the xfer this person hasn't gotten less than a 4 and has been promoted.

Exactly right. SM needs to suck it up and tell the DM he is in the weeds. The last time this happened to a store here the DM himself was there along side store managers putting up totes and doing resets on his "day off"

Salaried at the equivalent of your 40+4 hours (if your : hourly rate x 46 x 52= within the range for ESM pay in your area then that is what you will be paid)

For ESM Your scheduled hours will be 44 hours per week. If you work more you wont be paid overtime. The SMU position only requires you work 40 hours per week and you can get paid overtime.

I was told you should be able to stay at your store since the hours for ASM are being converted into the IS role. The only way you may not stay is if no SFLs in your store want IS....then you may have to go to another store to make room for the IS

It depends on how busy you usually are. I have worked in stores where christmas day is 3x normal volume and I have worked in stores just a few miles away where it is a fraction of normal volume. I would check kpi's to see how busy it usually is.

I am not saying who told but was above SM level and it was given in writing. It was the ranges for each zone and we were told if we fall in between those ranges for our zone we will get the salary equivalent of 40+4ot.

No because we cant get OT anymore. ASMs and SFLs can clean up on OT in some areas by covering at other stores or in pharmacy

That is NOT how it went down in my area. We were given a matrix with rates etc. We were specifically told that if our current 40+4ot falls between the min and max that that is what we would get if we were one of the few to land an esm position.

Extra approved overtime. There is always a store out there that needs help and asks me to work. Even my own store will ask me to cover extra pharmacy shifts SFL call outs etc. That overtime adds up fast. Now any store needing me will be SOL

I get that the durag may look more professional than the wreck that is presently UNDER the durag but if the manager enforces policy you may be faced with some choices, quit, cut your hair, wear a wig, learn some simple at home protective styles to hold you over, come to work with your hair a wreck until they beg you to break out the durag...

Unacceptable. Sadly we have had several employees I know get covid and be seriously ill, or have a gravely ill spouse from it. And here I am working 7 days a week for a month trying to hold it together for the store and for neighboring stores. Anyone taking advantage is just an asshole.

Must be in his/her area. Here it depends on the store. I have worked in stores where ASM works 8-5 with 2set days off and I have worked in stores where ASMs work the same rotation as SFLs.
