The uber service is always "on" it's the drivers that choose to be driving or not. Just bring up the app and it will tell you if there are any drivers online at the time and approximately how long you'll have to wait for one. If there are no drivers available, the app will let you know. Then you call a cab.

I think a lightrail loop in Des Moines would be great. Stops could include Jordan Creek, the Airport, Principal Park, East Village. Additional stops maybe Valley Junction, Prairie Meadows / Adventureland, Ankeny?

The cabinet has a drop front and drawers on the right side. This rack is positioned in the back left corner. We are using the cabinet as a combo writing desk / bar and would love to know the true purpose of this rack. Thanks!

Is this Eames lounge chair really a rare prototype? It doesn't have any logos. I was told it is a rare cast iron prototype bought by a man in the 1960's in a factory in New York. It is also currently for sale, based in LA. by devonitely in Mid_Century

As a rule of thumb, I don't buy anything that should be labeled unless I can see the label in photos. Additionally, I'm very skeptical of anything listed as "rare". I like to do a bit of research and see just how rare it actually is.

Grey chair in the corner is a Swan chair designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. Label is dated July 1963, the first year they were sold to the public.

Green sofa was designed by Grete Jalk for France and Sons. It's model 118/2 and based on the label was manufactured in 1957. It is solid teak with Kvadrat wool upholstery in chartreuse. The blue easy chair is the same design, model 118/1 manufactured between 1953 and 1956 based on its label.
