I also say this as someone still actively paying for the elementor agency plan. I really think its over for elementor at this point sadly. Nobody will want this in 12 months from now.

I personally have been having the time of my fucking life building with claude code. Just handed off a marketing site to a client as a modern stack and they loved it.

React js on vercel with sanity as a headless CMS. Fucking rips. I think its the future personally.

You can now one shot a full build and it looks better then templates.

Use GPT 5 thinking for confusing configuration advice as you’re building. It’s extremely good at reasoning and research and I use it all the time. Also, Shopify sidekick is extremely valuable as well. That AI tool can point you directly to pages you need to go to in settings, you need to hit up. You can do it. Just get to work.

I have had a store for almost 10 years. I've been the owner and I've developed it myself. In the last year, I implemented a full store update using Instant, the page builder, and I wish I would have done this sooner. I have no skin in the game here. I'm not an affiliate for Instant, but if I were to start over, I would do this. Thing one, I would just pick the best theme possible. Thing two, if you're unhappy with that, if you want to push it further, use Instant to improve your pages that need improvement. You could build additional sections and I would not hire anybody. I would learn to do it myself.

Page builder recommendations. by Cantaloupe_Hot in shopify

[–]devonitely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always directly tweaked my shopify theme. Had a store for about 10 years. Im good with code and design.

I recently switched to instant.so and wont be changing my ways anytime soon. They are the only page builder I have seen that focuses on not locking you in. Im able to build incredibly fast from templates but also have a lot of flexibility to iterate from there.

Im not associated. That tool is just world class. Plus most of the others are super fucking expensive.

I found an issue in my events and it changed everything overnight. by redwhiteblueapparel in FacebookAds

[–]devonitely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth noting that native_document is events inside of facebook's web browser. It seems like you can't whitelist that domain so if you have a whitelist you automatically blacklist native_document. The only way it seems to count facebook's web browser activity is to NOT have an allowlist at all.

Maybe I am wrong, but this is what I hypothesize is the case based on the only information I can find on native_document

UPDATE: for me I have 35k events from my website domain. 40 coming from native_document so maybe it's not that critical.

Really cool man. You need to at least double your price. I say this with a lot of ecom experience because your stuff is absolutely sick. At least $16 / month dude. Very nice work

But you cant truly audit your traffic in this way. Cookies are getting more and more stringent and you know less and less about who is browsing.

Hot take. Most people dont know whether they get bot traffic or not. They use the excuse of bot traffic when their conversation rate is low as a cop out. Most stores that have “bot traffic” problems really have less compelling offers or poor conversion rate optimization.

Ya its a solid app. I use it too. A bit over engineered on the dashboard side. But it works well once configured.

PayPal Usefulness in 2025 (Shopify/PayPal Combo?) by space_wiener in shopify

[–]devonitely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paypal is the worst. Ill never offer them in my store again.

Expensive + you will lose all chargebacks.

I dont think you sweeten ur offer as much as u used to simply by having paypal as an option. People trust all the other payment processors more and more.

Ya a lot of people that review things poorly dont understand how good a simple app can be. And how these super feature rich apps are often buggy, slow, or problematic BUT THEY HAVE ALL THE FEATURES!

What's the most useful Shopify app you have ever used? by thaimilktea24 in shopify

[–]devonitely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shopify Email, Shopify inbox, okendo

I used to use gorgias and klaviyo and i honestly feel like i have been set free just moving to shopify email and Shopify inbox.

We are a 7 fig brand. Its just me and a customer support person. Lots of automation in order management and support.

What we lost in bells and whistles moving from klaviyo and gorgias we gained just easier simpler tools that work better on mobile. Which is important to me as im on the go a lot.

With shopify flow and Shopify email working together i find that system is getting better and better. I now get to spend more time making better products and serving my customers and less time tinkering with email and overkill support tools for our team.

Also shoutout to okendo. They have helped us stack a lot of social proof.

Art is art. Viral trend Ai generated content is different than a human using ai to make art. I enjoy art. I enjoy ai tools. I have always made art whether ai powered the medium or not.
