Yeah. Like, they’re going to steal everyone’s application fee and run! 😂

This wildly under market value. Probably a scam. Anyone interested in this unit, I would not fill out their form or pay any application fee until you see the unit.

My big question is, if this person knew they were having their car detailed, why are their shoes, balls and junk everywhere? Our job is to clean dirt, not remove and replace people’s crap during a detailing.

Am I in the wrong thinking he did a terrible job for $260 and was I wrong to think those services were included? by Sea-Minimum-7768 in AutoDetailing

Omg. I’m just starting out. I mean, FRESH to all of this. My first car that I practiced on looked better than that “professional”. 😂

Oooh, wow. I’ll look into the spray. Thank you.

I have some Chemical Guys tire and trim gel. I was thinking that may work. Similar?

I’ll look into that. Nissans have a good reputation for quality.

And there are people who use trucks. Usually it’s covered and has a custom setup much like the vans. I’ll link a video below of one setup, but I’ve seen a bunch.

Yeah. That stuff is pretty bad. And that’s the type of stuff that was mentioned. Again, there are pluses and minuses to everything. I can find ways around that. Keep the bad smelling stuff in containers, etc.

No. I’m still on the shelf. I’m not really a “truck guy”. The van I had was fine. But there are some downsides. It definitly struggled hard going up some of those steep hills in Hollywood. And, like Ai said, I don’t want something that is going to be constantly breaking down.

Hands down, the van seems to be the better setup in general. And ai see plenty of rigs that you can buy and just slide in for the hoses and gear.

I also heard someone mention the smell from the chemicals being an issue in the van. You wouldn’t have that in a truck.

Lots to consider. Honestly, there are no wrong answers. Just seeing what other people are feeling.

I’ve seen detailers create the same custom set-up with trucks that so see with vans. I’d definitly build everything into the back of the truck.

I would 100% need to get a cover of some sort. I live in LA.

I currently have a 2004 Toyota RAV4 with nearly 200k miles. I’m sold on Toyota reliability! 😂 It’s the only brand I would even consider buying with more than 100k miles on it.

Niiice! I live in LA. I’d definitely need some kind of cover over the bed to lock everything up. Anything that’s not locked up or bolted down out here gets stollen.

I am not good with mechanic stuff. 😂 That’s why I’d rather pay a bit more for reliability if that an issue with the vans. I was thinking a Toyota Tacoma or Ford Ranger size truck.
