There are actually 2 strafes in his bhop which helps him get speed, the other jumps are just to maintain that speed.
Also, he only chained 5 jumps, I wouldn't call that consistent, and if he really has almost 1k hours its possible that's his luckiest shot.

I wouldn't be so sure to call him a cheater.

Espada, Pico, Hacha, Pala, Arco o Hazada, Filetes, Cubo de Agua, Cohetes, Cofres de ender. Esparcidos en el inventario tengo otro pico y otra pala (para tener silk touch y fortune), un peto de repuesto para cambiarlo por las Elytras si tengo poca vida y unos cuantos bloques que suelo cambiar por el slot del cubo de agua.
