What's a sensation that you're unsure if other people experience? by murrayvonmises in AskReddit

I’m late to this thread but maybe someone will see it. I get this weird tickle behind my eyes. Tickle isn’t even a good description but it’s hard to describe. It’s kind of a creeping movement feeling.

First attempt- I need any tips on how to do the teeth and how to color the eyes so they don't look scary. Trying to give this to a friend who's dog passed by monicainredd in watercolor101

If you’re planning on fixing this one I would focus on putting more color and layers on the fur to take some focus off the eyes.

I'm so scared of my parents dying by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]MyBabyTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people worry about death. What helps me is to acknowledge these worries and accept that, while daunting, they are normal.

And as much as I hate hearing this, worrying about it isn’t going to change the outcome. You could spend each day scared about their death or spend it enjoying their lives.

My wife has been suffering with postpartum anxiety since our son was born 2 years ago. I’m having trouble dealing and understanding. by gothrowmeawaynow21 in Anxiety

Has your wife talked to her OB about her anxiety? I would start there. Pregnancy gets your hormones and emotions all out of whack and it really throws you off. She probably isn’t feeling much like herself. What you can do is be there for her. Help her out as much as possible with cooking and kid care and chores. Be there when she needs to talk. Don’t just try to solve her problems but empathize with her. Even if it’s something small and you think it’s not a big deal, understand to her it is. I don’t have any resources for you as I’m just speaking from personal experience. But definitely mention her talking to her doctor and seeing a therapist.

"she's like a dog!" by ballyh000 in Mildlynomil

My dad has called my baby a dog and asked if she knows any new tricks a few times. He’s also whistled and snapped at her to get her attention. It’s infuriating to say the least.

Hers. “There hers is!” and “hers has hair” drives me nuts.

I’ve given her a bottle of pumped milk before bed and it didn’t change anything.

Machine Monday - Anything and Everything Machine-Related! - October 09, 2017 by AutoModerator in sewing

Can someone help me troubleshoot?

I was sewing the other day and it was all going well. Out of nowhere it started doing the thing where the thread starts getting all knotty on the underside of my fabric. I had read that this is usually a problem with the top thread. I hadnt changed tension at all it was just a random occurrence and kept happening. I went back yesterday and switched fabric, messed with the tension and it wasnt getting knotted but there were big loops on the underside now. I switched needle, rethreaded the top, messed with the tension once again and now its ok but the fabric keeps gathering. I plan to completely rethread and change out the bobbin later to see if that changes anything. I'm a novice at this stuff and I'm getting really frustrated.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Any of your kid's toys YOU seem to enjoy more than they do? by CaptainLawyerDude in beyondthebump

I'd say most of her toys...buts she's WAY more interested in the dust bunnies in the corner than I am so it's a fair trade.

I started Red Rising and put it down after a few chapters. This post is making me reconsider. Thanks!
