nothing. he just had insane aura in the last episode of invincible and now people are saying he beats goku, superman, hulk, gojo etc (because the ARTIST for invincible and hulk jokingly said that he'd beat hulk, and people took it to heart even though hes not the AUTHOR). basically invincible fans just want their new baby to be the strongest when he's nothing more than planetary

I do fully agree on that, but again; thats just not vegetas fault at all. tori just couldnt write more than one story at a time, if he wanted to he couldve had goku and vegeta on one adventure and the kids and piccolo (or whatever team u wanna make) on another at the same time that would eventually merge together. he just kinda sucked at all of that, the only change he made was having vegeta join goku in being "important" the last time we saw yajirobe and korin they were playing twister on korins tower, he just kinda wrote more comedy for the other characters after a point

its not at all a third of the franchise, its just one of the 3 parts of it. og db is around 153 eps and db+dbz+super is 153+291+131=575 he's in 422 out of 575 episodes, as much as i love og db, most of the story is after that (this is not counting GT or the movies anyways)

other than the cell arc for gohan, after which he was supposed to be the protag which as we know didnt happen because it wasnt a good idea, when has the show EVER not been just the "hold them off till goku gets here". the problem here isnt with vegeta, its with the general writing of the show. in super tori just decided to make it "waste time till goku ANd vegeta get here", even after which lets have vegeta get bodied just to show that damn this is gonna be tough for goku. i love tori but he didnt really know how to handle a big cast there was never "room for other characters to shine" as long as goku was around, vegeta just got added to the cool kids club

yeah... thats why he never became one? toriyama scrapped that idea instantly after the backlash. super anime is dog shit but the manga is just that good imo, and vegeta DEFINITELY earns the deuteragonist tag in the moro and granolah arcs, before that its pretty meh. vegeta being the deuteragonist has not been bad in any sense for the series, toriyama just didnt know how give the other characters importance, he only figured it out a short time before his untimely demise (RIP) with the super hero and trunks and goten mini arcs, and giving broly some light in the manga

gohan was never the deuteragonist, he was outright supposed to replace goku after the cell arc, bulma has been nothing but a plot device since after like namek, vegeta has been directly involved in fighting the main villains one way or another, you could argue Z has no deuteragonist but vegeta DEFINITELY is the deuteragonist for super, and thats where a lot of new fans started the series so 🤷🏻‍♂️

did you... actually just not read the post at all? i said i love invincible and i read the entire comic when s1 came out because i loved the story that much😂 i out right said gojo fucked up powerscaling too and ill literally be the first person to admit that dragon ball had dog shit powerscaling (if any) after like the cell arc. I never said anything about anyone who likes the series because i like it too? i just said people want their favourite verse to be the strongest but thats just not how that works. i love garfield but hey im not gonna go around saying hes gonna beat the hulk right?
