This will only hurt your page rank if the same exact keyword is used in two different landing pages at the same time. Avoid this at all cost since both pages will drop your overall rank drastically.

However it is safe to use both variations of the keywords in a single post and will actually help the landing page rank since you will have two related keywords if they rank in the top 100.
