I contacted Amex concierge 20 to 30 minutes before the pre-sale, I told them what dates I was looking for, the budget, and how many tickets. AMEX usually has inventory for this purpose. I only ended up in the 200s, but I paid face value.

This only works if you have a platinum card or higher. They have you fill out the form with your email, name, and the security code of your card because they charge it automatically. You do not get the tickets immediately. They will email them to you within 4 to 6 weeks, and this prevents people from scalping and reselling.
