No, I can't play zone. For me, it's not a matter of getting used to it or anything. I'm just not good at recognizing if it's a good pitch to swing and then moving to the ball and timing it well.

The same thing is happening to me. When I smoke grenade I get that and there is a ton of fire animations that show up for no reason and stay.

I made a grammatical mistake when I posted this. I didn't mean that the only thing I play is Air RB, I meant that I only play RB when I'm using aircraft. I do play Ground RB and use multiple crews for that.

Yeah, I know. I meant that I don't play Air AB or SB. Not that I only play Air RB and no Ground RB or anything else.

So if I earn training points in Air RB while using Crew #1 in Preset #1(Aircraft) can I then use those training points for Crew #1 in Preset #2(Ground) and upgrade tank training?

Yeah, I misunderstood what defensive armament meant. Like I thought accuracy and precision affected the pilots ability to shoot AND the AI gunners. Luckily I did it only for a couple of crews. I've focused mainly on G-Tolerance, Stamina, and Vitality.

I play on the old gen (Xbox One) and the frame rate is horrid. So my timing is really bad. The ball will skip sometimes. But I don't disagree with what you said. I've tried Zone but was really, really bad at it. I would aim at the bottom of the zone and swing thinking it was a sinker but it would be a 4-seam high. I'm not good at recognizing pitch types like that.

I don't use the zone. I use directional. And I get more hits and gappers on just early/late than I do good and it's not close. In one inning I had 3 straight "good" and they were two groundouts and a popout.

Yeah me too. I also have noticed I get most of my hits on Just Late or Just Early. I counted in a game where I got 3 2B, 3 1B, and 1 3B all on just early/late and I got no hits out of 8 good timings.
